Home description
The apartment is a one bedroom apartment with a separate alcove housing two bunks. Ideal for a couple or a couple with two children. The bathroom has recently been refurbished and is now a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin. The apartment has recently been redecorated and is light and bright. There is a small balcony on which is a coffee table and seats and below in the garden are chairs and a table for al fresco dining, and a very productive lemon tree for your gin and tonics.......... The balcony is narrow and has only a low flower trough edging it and so is not suitable for very small children although the small garden has a lawn and bushes.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is as its name suggests a coast with the sun most days of the year. It is very pleasant in the winter months and normally only requires a cardigan in the evening. There are rainy periods of course otherwise there would not be the lush vegitation that abounds here. It is a very good base for walking or driving in the mountains. There are many trips fron Nerja to places as far afield as Gibraltar, Granada, Cordoba, Seville and to the local villages such as Frigilliana and to the famous Nerja Caves which are in Maro.
Nerja / El Capistrano Village area
Nerja, as most villages in Spain, love their Fiestas and there aremany of them during the year. The most spectacular ones are the religious ones when the statues of Mary and of the Christ are carried through the town from one church to another at Easter. There is the San Isidro fiesta in May where a long procession of horses and floats carrying colourfully dressed men, women and children from the town to the caves follow the Saint on his oxen drawn cart. There's San Juan which is overnight on the beach in June and many more.
Nerja can provide many activities for the holiday maker who does not spend his time on the beach but prefers activities. There is horseriding, walking, tennis, golf, water sports and theme parks within driving distance - crockdile park wolf park, Selwo safari park
How to get there
Flights are available with Easyjet, Monarch, Ryanair and BA. Watch for their special offers. Oasis de Capistrano is 3kms east of Nerja which is about 50kms from Malaga Airport. Along the motorway it is now only about 45 minutes drive. Drive past the Nerja turnoff and through the Capistrano Tunnel until you come to the turnoff for Maro. Exit here and turn right at the roundabout going back towards Nerja. The next roundabout is the Oasis roundabout. On leaving the motorway turn right and proceed to the next roundabout which is the Oasis to Capistrano entrance. Carry straight on for a few metres and No. 6 Pueblo, Capistrano Village is across the road to Oasis de Capistrano and immediately across from the Los Arcos Hotel where parking may be available in the road at the side of the hotel there is a short flight of steps from the roadway to the apartment

Further details indoors: The lounge has a settee and armchair with a TV which is cable and receives ITV and BBC as well as movie channels, sports and news channels. This room also has the dining furniture and the kitchen. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and sufficient crockery and cooking utensils. A brandnew washing machine has just been installed. The twinbedded bedroom has wardrobe facilities and in the winter the beds are equipped with duvets with blankets in the wardrobe for the bunk beds. The bunks are in a separate alcove next to the bathroom. The bathroom has been adapted into a shower room with a hand washbasin and toilet.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is situated a few minutes walk from a well stocked supermarket. Also there are two swimming pools and a supermarket in the Village itself together with a laundry and other offices offering trips etc. There is also a restaurant. Across the road are two very good hotels with restaurants and three minutes walk to the left is another good cafe/restaurant called Las Fuentes at the entrance to Oasis de Capistrano. A ten minute walk gets you to the town of Nerja which is an eaters paradise as there are over 300 cafes and restaurants of all nationalities to try. Shops in quaint streets and the Balcon de Europe to sit and watch the world go by. There are also buses which stop on the nearby road, local and ones for Malaga and the Caves. The caves are only 3kms away in Maro and very well worth a visit.
