The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Nerja has a wonderful climate, great atmosphere and beautiful beaches and shops. Situated on the East side of the Costa del Sol, in the Axarquia area, iit is bordering with the Granada Province and Costa Tropical.
Nerja offers prehistoric caves, a charming old town centre, including the "Ermita" Church and its frecoes, the Balcony of Europe and its many shops and restaurants.
Nerja / Central Nerja near Parador and Beaches area
Right in the centre of Nerja, near the best hotel (El Parador), many good restaurants, shops and all kind of facilities and local activities are available.
No car is necessary.
How to get there
Iberia, BA, Easyjet and many other airlines fly to Malaga Airport, which is about 50 minutes drive from Nerja on a very good dual carriageway/motorway. Initially, you need to follow the signs for Almeria or Motril. Nerja on the East side of the Costa del Sol, bordering with the Granada Province/Costal Tropical.
