This modern self-catering apartment is part of the aptly named paraiso (paradise) complex. With palm trees, coconut parasols around the communal pool, exotic bird of paradise and banana trees in the grounds. The property has its own private garden. A peaceful place to relax on the sun loungers or enjoy the barbecue & al fresco meals on the terrace.
If you intend to go sight-seeing & hire a car, there is an allotted parking space in the underground car park. Car hire is not necessary to enjoy the town of Nerja, 15 mins walk away or Burriana beach a mere 5mins. Burriana has a fantastic range of restaurants for snacks, local specialities; giant paella, grilled sardines, enjoy a flamenco show, or a romantic evening meal by the sea. All are child friendly, typical of the warm Spanish welcome you receive here.

Taking a drive out, you can visit the historic cities of Granada (Alhambra Palace) or Malaga (birthplace of Picasso). For the golfer, it is a 30mins drive to the nearest course (Baviera). Trips to Morocco or Gibraltar and even skiing in the nearby Sierra Nevada resort, are also, all favourite excursions.
Nerja / Valparaiso area
Nerja is a delightful Mediterranean haven. The sub-tropical climate boasts all year sunshine, with 13kms of beaches and the backdrop of the impressive Almijara Mountains and National parkland. Once a sleepy fishing village, Nerja has grown with the tourist industry and is a perfect base, from which to explore the best of Andalucia.
The unspoilt coastline offers a chance to enjoy watersports and explore the rocky inlets, diving or snorkelling. The local, whitewashed villages are worth a visit to sample traditional produce and crafts. Another 'must' visit are the famous Nerja caves with their magnificent stalactites, revered by the first Palaeolithic settlers.

Further details indoors: All bedrooms are immaculately furnished from John Lewis, in soft creams and voiles with luxurious bedspreads. The master bedroom has a small balcony and sliding windows, opening onto the garden and all day sun. Privacy and shade are maintained in the bedrooms with the addition of linen blinds and outdoor shutters. There are large fitted wardrobes in each room for all storage needs. Both bathrooms are a good family size and have a bath and shower. The master en-suite has the additional luxury of a jacuzzi spa bath to complete your relaxing holiday.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, crockery and cooking utensils. There is seating for four people at the kitchen table and the garden terrace has an extending wooden table for eight. Padded cushions for the chairs and sun loungers are provided. The separate utility/laundry room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron/ironing board. In the lounge there is a large plasma screen TV and the view of the garden through the French windows. For internet access there is a wireless broadband service, available from a local cocktail bar, 5min. walk to Burriana beach.
Further details outdoors: Valparaiso is a small, beautifully landscaped complex, home to permanent residents and holiday makers. It is a peaceful site with easy access to the apartment. The gated entrances provide security and privacy and is suitable for singles, couples or young families.
