About the home

This detached villa is located in the beautiful urbanisation of Fuente Del Baden, on the east side of Nerja. This area is near the centre of Nerja town centre and the Balcon De Europa and just over a km from Burriana beach. The villa is furnished to a high standard and is well equipped throughout offering comfort and space. This really is a home from home.

From the lounge there is a 3 metre folding patio door leading to a covered terrace with wicker loungers and table, an ideal spot to enjoy al fresco dining.

The villa is enhanced by a selection of large pot plants and shrubs, and plenty of areas ideal for lazy afternoons in the shade with a glass of wine. This property has all the comfort you may expect from a perfect home.

The accommodation, which is on one level, comprises of an entrance stable door through to a large galley kitchen which leads through to the open planned dining room and lounge. There is a twin bedroom off the dining room and two further double bedrooms off the lounge. The double bedroom has a ceiling fan, full fitted wardrobes, a king sized bed and an en suite bathroom.

There is a spacious open plan lounge complete with leather sofas, offers all the luxury mod-cons including a 37" plasma screen TV, DVD player, cinema surround sound system, iPod dock , SKY TV with several channels, air-conditioning, internet access, WIFI and telephone access if needed.

The dining area is open planned and has seating for 6, the kitchen boasts marble work tops and breakfast bar, a Belfast double sink, large fridge freezer, SMEG gas cooker and electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a wealth of cooking utensils. It is the ideal place for a family dinner.

There is a 2nd full bathroom.

The master bedroom is again a king size double bedroom fitted with a ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes.

There is a beautiful conservatory off the master bedroom which doubles as a play room and is equipped with a sofa bed to sleep 2 small children on one adult acting as a 4th bedroom. Please note that the conservatory is attached to the master bedroom and open access through an arch.

We do have a number of games including Cluedo, Monopoly, Jenga, puzzles and cards including a selection of books.

Further details outdoors:
There is terracing around the whole property including a BBQ area and another table and chairs which benefits from a folding awning so you can have sun or shade.

The large swimming pool 8m x 4m has a slide and a covered terrace area adjacent and sun loungers with a large shaded area for welcome break from the sun.

The roof terrace off the lounge has 360 degree views to the mountains and sea. The large lawned garden at the bottom of the villa is completely enclosed and safe for young children to run around while you relax and equipped with swings. As this villa is detached you have complete privacy.

The terracing and garden is south facing which means you get to take advantage of the sun all day and evening.

There is a wealth of terraces around the villa which give you plenty of places to relax in peace.

The Costa del Sol region

With more hours of sunshine than just about anywhere else in Europe, villa holidays in the Costa del Sol have always been a popular choice. From Gibraltar to Nerja this is a wonderful stretch of coastline that majors on chic resorts and great beaches.

Naturally our villa holidays are all about flexibility, and our superbly appointed villas allow easy access to resorts like Puerto Banus and Fuengirola as well as "must see" sites like the Alhambra in Granada, picturesque Mijas and the grand city of Seville. There again, one of our villa holidays is all about relaxation so you might find it difficult to tear yourself away from your private pool! But, for those with a wanderlust to satisfy, the Moroccan city of Tangiers is well worth a trip.

So, if your idea of the perfect villa holiday includes great beaches, good golf courses and Riviera resorts then the Costa del Sol should be just the ticket!

The Nerja / Burriana area

Unrushed and informal, this picturesque, whitewashed fishing village is backed by stunning mountain scenery and is ideal for lots of souvenir shopping and exploring. The tiny, twisting streets have shops catering for all tastes and the town is strong on cafe-life, with friendly spots to sit and enjoy a morning café con leche. The Moorish-style architecture adds an attractive touch and if you want some dramatic views, the Balcon de Europa is a wide, palm-lined promenade that will take you out to sea above two of the town's sandy coves. By night the pace speeds up somewhat and you will be faced with excellent waterfront restaurants as well as lively tapas bars. If you ever want to venture further afield, then Nerja's famed underground caves are a nearby tourist hotspot and make a spectacular sight.

Flights to Malaga Airport from most city Airports, via Easy jet, Monarch, My Travel Lite, Excel Airways, Openjet, First Choice, Palmair, and British Airways.

Local Buses from Malaga to Nerja cost approximately 4 euro each

We can arrange airport transfers on your behalf at a cost of 64 euro each way or minibuses for parties up to 9 people.

We really enjoyed our stay in Nerja and your beautiful house! We all loved the house and garden and the pool which Benjamin (13yrs.) enjoyed for hours. Everything was working ok and thanks for the dongle and the new
cushions for the deckchairs. We were very pleased to find the house so nice and high standard - really worth the money. (Kanervo party of 4 adult and 1 child from Finland)

The house is lovely and the space is perfect - especially if, as we did, there are varying ages and needs in the house. It lends itself to having time apart or together which is just what is needed. You've obviously spent time making sure the furnishings are up to date and "easy" - again, great for holiday comfort. We had a great holiday. We really enjoyed our stay in the fantastic Villa Familia for a week at the beginning of January 2012. The spacious villa was very luxurious and clean, with beautiful modern furnishings and appliances. It had everything we needed and more for a relaxing holiday.
The villa was ideally situated in an exclusive residential part of Nerja, near to shops, bars, restaurants and the spectacular Burriana Beach. The villa was surrounded by beautiful, large and well maintained gardens which gave peace and privacy. The numerous terraces around the villa provided great sunbathing, eating and relaxing areas, with fantastic views to sea and mountains from the roof terrace. The large pool and surrounding terrace was just fantastic for spending a lazy afternoon in the sun! (Fraser's party of 2 from Edinburgh)
