The property is fully equiped with TV, DVD, Air Conditioning, Washing machine, Pay As You Go Wireless Internet, Small safe, completely reformed in 2004, fully decorated January 2011, Shared Swimming Pool & Child Paddling Pool both set in communial gardens. Location between two of Nerja's best beaches, it is a five minute walk to the main town but far enough away for a quiet evening in on the balcony or one of the local restaurants/bars. The area is very relaxing and very clean, the locals take great pride in their little part of paradise. There are diving classes on the Buriana beach 5 Min's away and a youngsters area over the other side of town approx 20min walk with a complete square full of bars and music (Tuti-Fruiti). Primarily Nerja is for young families and couples of all ages relaxing and watching time tick by, commonly advertised as the 'Balcony Of Europe'.

The building is three floors high and is typically white stone dash, it is not part of a modern urbanisation / complex you are in a small, quiet street, the gardens are well kept, there is a small supermarket and at least 5 restaurants opposite the apartment, you do not get any cooking smells from the restaurants. The building's facilities are cleaned and maintained every day to a very high standard with typical Spanish tiles to the entrance walls. The apartment is easy to use, every single part of the flat was reformed in 2004 to a very high standard offering total relaxation for our clients, decorated from top to bottom during Christmas 2011. It is very bright with cool tiled floors, for long term rentals we have ensured most items are available, the microwave has a grill and the cupboards are full of utensils you would expect at home, we have also installed two smoke alarms for your safety. We installed pay as you go wireless internet acess as a trial from June 2011, credit is paid for via Pay-Pal online or via the TV shop service provider at the front of our building.

The swimming pool is generally kept full all year round but is normally open for use during summer months, at the caretakers discretion. The facilities are for partons only and there are poolside toilets and showers. There are lifts at various enterances and a staircase at each end, the corridors are all open and have timed lighting and fire extinguishers. The beach is literaly a stones throw from the apartment and you can walk along to the adjacent Buriana beach with all the restaurants and bars, not to forget the cushioned sun beds at around four euros per day.
If booking for two weeks, spare linen and towels will be provided for your own change (not for beach use), we do not accept bookings of youngsters especially groups of single sex, (hen or stag parties). The property is generally for adults only, subject to request we may accept a booking with children. We will require a deposit upon approval of your booking £150.00, the balance will be due 8 weeks prior to your departure, the keys will be forwarded by post, insured delivery with a spare set of keys available upon your arrival from our agents near by. Upon your return, when the cleaners have confirmed the apartment is OK together with their keys and the prompt return of our keys in the UK we will send back your deposit. We must make our patrons aware that the air conditioning is included in the rental costs but if it is left on all day we can check from our own separate meter, if the facilitie is abused a suplement may be charged from your deposit. (Please note, we have not had to use this clause to date). The internet acess is Pay As You Go and is not a guaranteed facility but is provided by the TV shop at the front of our building, any problems should be resolved quickly.
Minimum booking, one week, any bookings three weeks or more the tenant will be liable for the electricity. Maximum booking duration 11 months. Deposit required to secure booking, balance due 8weeks prior to arrival, deposit will be returned subject to condition of apartment and prompt return of keys to the UK. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed. Terms and conditions will need to be approved before keys are released. No pets of any kind, no smoking unless on the balcony. Deposits cannot be refunded during peek months (June to September including all half terms and public holidays) unless another booking is found to cover the cancellation.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol is a lively vibrant place to holiday, the other side of Malaga is very British and we feel looses the essence of Spain, as you travel along this side of Malaga up Nerja, which is the edge of the Costa, the towns become more traditional, scenic and relaxing.
Nerja is a collection of bays with mountains behind, it is a natural sun trap for sun worshipers with old cobbled streets filled with restaurants and gift shops. It is known for its relaxing atmosphere and thankfull lack of larger louts. It has a beautiful companion town of Frigiliana going up into the mountains, very historical and easy to access by local bus. The amazing caves which are to spectacular for words. Nerja is still made up of around 75% Spanish, the other 25% are mainly made up from British, Irish, Dutch, Canadians and French, the next Town of Torox is mainly German.
Granada is a great day out in and it is possible to travel to the Sierra -Nevada for a days skiing during winter months.
The Nerja / Parador Area area
Cave of Nerja 2-3km away, street market on Tuesday, donkey / animal sanctuary, diving centre at Burriana beach, personal massage on beach, street artists, horse and carriage rides plus train rides at the Balcon main square. Nerja is best known for great restaurants, drink and watching the world go by.
16th -17th Jan = San Anton, February 3 days of festivities and carnival parade, March / April holy week Easter, May 3rd Cruces de Maro, May 15th San Isidro procession from Nerja to Caves dress up and dance, June 23rd San Juan beach barbecue plus midnight swim, July 16th Virgen del Carmen the virgin is carried through Nerja to beach and out on fishing boat, July Festival del la Queva flamenco & classical music in caves.

We stayed in October last year and this coincided with the Nerja festival. With the apartments location we were right in the thick of it and from the balcony we could watch the parade go past us, which was fabulous. The apartment itself was well decorated, clean and all the appliances were in good condition. It was very homely, and the local information folder provided was essential reading, especially liked the Tapas trails where you follow a route and indulge in the real Spain. The apartment is in a prime location, and easy access to everything, and booking again for this year.

We had never been to Nerja before but had heard good reports from friends. We were not disappointed, with this beautiful apartment being the icing on the cake. It has been very tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we possibly needed for our 10-day stay. It seemed that every day we found something else we hadn't noticed. Since we visited in October we didn't need either the air conditioning or heating but the dual-purpose units in the sitting room and master bedroom looked ideal for other times of year. Instructions were provided for their use, as well as for all the other devices in the apartment. For those with families who like to watch TV, there is a large screen model with access to all the UK channels. We preferred to while away any spare time simply relaxing on the balcony, overlooking the pool. The pool area is also ideal, having both open ground for sun-worshippers and the shade of the palms for those who simply want to relax with a book. The location couldn't be better. It is only a few minutes easy walking to either the town centre or the beaches but just removed enough to be peaceful at night. One thing to watch out for is, if you have a car, a huge car park is out of use during the forst couple of weeks in October. This means tha it is often quite difficult, but not impossible, to find a spot in the streets near the apartment at that time. Nerja itself is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and bars, mixed with an array of shops. It's a joy to wander the streets in the evening. Although probably not so ideal in mid-summer, this is also a perfect base for walking in the mountains of Andalucia, as we did in October. We will definitely be back in Nerja, hopefully in this same apartment which really felt like home by the time we left.

It was our first time in Nerja and we loved it. The apartment was perfect. It had everything you needed. It was spotlessly clean and was like home from home. It was in a good location, central to all shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.The town was lovely and the local people were all very friendly. I would recommend this holiday apartment to anybody. We had a great time and we are looking forward to going back again.
