The apartment (s) are on a quiet road just about 5 minutes walk to Burriana Beach. Ideal for families who wish to share or be near each other. The small children will be very safe as each apartment has it own gate as you enter and the other terrace is railed. Older children would be safe to go to and from the beach without worry. The beach has everthing, supermarket, bars, restaurants,coffee shops, internet shop, bank machine as well as toy and clothes shops. Some of the restaurants are directly on the beach and AYOs is a 'must visit'. For those football fans Sky sports can be found in one or two of the bars.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Nerja is a small Spanish town about an hour from Malaga airport. It is surrounded by mountain that sweep to the sea. In the centre of the town is the famous Balcon de Europe which is a wonderful vantage point to view the entire coast.Up from the Balcon infront of the Church is a Plaza that comes alive in the evenings with many performing artists.
The town has an array of restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes. Walk along the cobbled narrow street and you will immediately know that you have arrived in the "Real Spain". Take a horse drawn carraige or the minature train (Wally Trolley) and you can discover the entire town at your leisure. The shops sell everthing from tricky trinkets to exclusive designer wear. You will also discover the old fashioned grocer shops that you would think no longer existed. On the back streets the older people usually sit outside their houses at night chatting to their neighbours. Most people who visit Nerja tend to go back year after year.
Nerja / Burriana Beach area
There are lots of things to do in the area. Fishing, all kinds of watersport, hill walking, horse riding, paragliding, or just laze the days away on one of the many beaches and coves that streatch along the coast. Take a trip to the caves at Maro or visit the wonderful white washed village of Frigiliana with all it amazing Morish history.
Take a drive back along the coast road towards Torrox Costa (not inland Torrox)and you will meet wonderful towns that are well worth a visit for a drink or lunch. Their fish dishes are exquisite and so reasonable that you will think that the bill has an error. All these village or coastal towns have their own Market day as has Nerja on a Tuesday. You can kind everthing from leather bags and belts to local produce at these markets. Most of this coast have promenades where you walk along by the beach right up to the town of Torre del Mar. At the end of July this town has a wonderful carnaval and should not be missed if you are holidaying at that time. Check out other places that may have their carnaval on when you are there. The tourist office beside the Balcon will give you details.
Beside Torre del Mar / Velez Malaga there is a large Shopping Centre called El Inginio which has all the high street stores like Zara,Mango, Pull and Bear, Dunne stores etc. Erosi is the main supermarket in the complex and you can find almost everthing from fresh prawns to electric goods. There is also a cinema upstairs that shows English films. Many lovely restaurants and coffee /bars are under the same roof. The car park is free and parking is easily found.
Also beside here is a fabulous waterpark - take in a full days fun or opt for an easier and cheaper afternoon visit from 4pm. (check as the time may have changed) Go Karting can be found about 5 minutes on the other side of Torre del Mar.
How to get there
Malaga 1 hour is the closest airport, but Granada and Sevilla could also be considered. All major low cost carriers fly in these airports. Buses from airport to Malaga run every few minutes - cost 1 euro. Buses from Malaga to Nerja run every 1/2 hour - cost 7 euro. Taxi fare from airport to Nerja cost approx €60. People carriers cost approx €90.

Further details outdoors: The apartments have sunloungers and reclining chairs. There is plenty of oudoor seating The swimming pool is well maintained as there is a full time caretaker to clean and look after the complex wich is small and not shared by too many units.

The swimming pool is open May to October. All cleaning, towels and linen are included in the price. (bring your own beach towels).
Conditions
25% deposit to secure the booking and the balance 6 weeks before arrival. If booking is made only 8 weeks before arrival the full amount is required.
