This beautiful penthouse is on the second floor of Edificio Alcazaba and is very private and consists of only 20 self contained apartments most of which are occupied by full time residents. The apartment consists of two double bedrooms,both of which have fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite with full bath and shower.There are patio doors which look out over the pool area. The second bedroom has twin single beds and an en-suite with full bath and shower too. This room is also fitted with patio doors that leads to a balcony with wonderful panoramic views of the mountains.
The lounge/dining room has table and chairs at one end for inside dining and at the other is the lounge which is equipped with TV and DVD player. The programs are from satellite which provide all the free to air in English and cable which provides all the Spanish programmes The lounge has patio doors leading out to the balcony which has a table and chairs suitable for eating al-fresco and which looks out over the pool area.The balcony is south facing and has a full sun blind.
There is a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave oven and including all the normal kitchen utensils.There is also a washing machine,clothes dryer,iron and ironing board.
The upper roof terrace is accessed via a spiral staircase and is equipped with table, chairs, sun-loungers, sun umbrella and of course a barbecue. There are views of the sea and panoramic views of the mountains.This is a wonderful place to sit and relax on a hot summer evening, maybe have a drink and just enjoy the cool air.Quite often, during the winter months, it is possible to enjoy the view of the snow capped mountains whilst sunbathing from the terrace.
Around the pool there is a grassed area for sunbathing. Adjacent to the pool is a cafe bar which is open all day supplying food, drinks and ice creams.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Alcazaba penthouse is located in Nerja, the easter coastal town in Costa del Sol. Nerja is a little white village with a lovely old town centre with restaurants and shops. You can enjoy on the beach or visiting the magnific Nerja Caves.
Nerja / Parador-Carabeo area
The apartment block is located midway between the town centre and Burriana Beach and is adjacent to the Parador Hotel, in what is considered to be the best area in Nerja.The town centre is a leisurely 10 min level walk, passing through the old narrow streets with many interesting shops, restaurants and bars. There is a small supermarket and also a newsagents selling international daily newspapers and magazines within 50 metres of the apartment. There is street parking but a car is not essential for exploring the town. Burriana beach is in the opposite direction and is also about a 10min walk and has all the facilities one would expect.There are many "Merenderos" (beach bars) along the beach offering fresh fish and meat cooked on the barbecue and also paella. Opposite the beach there are more restaurants and bars catering for every taste and nationality.There are also showers and toilet facilities strategically located along the "paseo" adjacent to the beach.
