The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Climate in this part of Spain is ideal and temperatures are favourable throughout the year with the winter months still seeing a good deal of sun. The summer is hot and goes on long into September with October also staying very warm.
There are a number of golf courses within a 15 to 30 minute drive away and the market every Thursday at Frigliana is a must for the ladies and is just a ten minute drive away.
Nerja / El Algarrobo area
Nerja is the perfect spot to relax and take in the Spanish way of life for a week or two. It's ideal for kids but there's enough nightlife in the town to let your hair down
The town of Nerja remains very unspoiled but still bustles with lots of typical Spanish tapas bars and numerous different restaurants at a variety of prices. There is almost every type of restaurant including Spanish, French, Italian, Mexican, and Indian etc.
The local beech is about 12 mins walk from the villa bu a bit more coming back (because it’s down hill going), but most people take the car and there are plenty of other pretty little bays only a few minutes away. The beaches aren't too crowded; there's diving, golf, sailing, waterparks and spectacular scenery aplenty and of course the spectacular caves of Nerja nearby all within a short drive.
Nerja is a traditional fishing town of typical Andalucian whitewashed houses adorned with geraniums in narrow cobbled streets. The focal point, in the centre of town, is the Balcon de Europa, a beautiful cliff top promenade jutting out into the Mediterranean to give spectacular views of the sandy beaches & coastal bays below and the impressive mountain range that is an impressive backdrop to this lovely Spanish town.
How to get there
Malaga airport is the nearest airport and is approximately 45 minutes drive away along the new coastal motorway.
Malaga is serviced by most holiday and budget airlines, including Iberia, BA, Easyjet and Monarch Air The airport at Granada also offers an alternative and is served by Ryan Air, however, this is approximately one and a hour hours away.

Further details indoors: This property is ideal for families. It is very roomy throughout, with a spacious lounge and dining area, large fully equipped kitchen with automatic washing machine. It has it's own private pool. It is situated in a quite but friendly location and is only 15 to 20 minutes walk from the famous Burriani beach in Nerja. The villa also has SKY TV with Sky Sports 1 & 2, all of the movie channels, and BBC 1 & 2.
Bath towels and linen are included and the property is cleaned weekly, however, beach towels are not provided.
