Nerja boasts some of the best weather in Spain and it enjoys its own 'micro' climate due to being protected by the surrounding mountains. This charming, coastal village will delight you, with its backdrop of stunning mountains, from its beaches and its narrow streets with their array of shops, to its bars and restaurants, which cater for all nationalities.
The nerve centre of Nerja is the Balcon de Europa, a favourite site with local people and visitors alike. it commands magnificent views over the Mediterranean and the mountains around Nerja. The promenade is lined with palms and two ancient cannons form a reminder that until 1812 there was a fortress at the top of the cliffs.
A 30 minute walk, or a short bus ride, will take you to the Nerja Caves, which contain vestiges of prehistoric remains dating back to the Palaeolithic period, some 30,000 years ago.
There are street every day of the week in near by towns. Nerja has its own street market on a Tuesday and an interesting flea market on a Sunday.
A 15 minute drive inland, or a short bus ride away, is the beautiful, typically Spanish mountain village of Frigiliana, with its fabulous views, small shops, bars and restaurants.
For golfers, the 18-hole course of La Baviera is 20 minutes away by car.
Nerja has numerous beaches, Burriana Beach, La Torrecilla and Calahhonda being just a few. Burriana Beach is a 20 minute walk from our village, or a short 5 minute car journey.
The area is ideal for both people who enjoy a wide variety of sports or those who enjoy a relaxing holiday on the terrace or beach on either a winter or summer break.

Guestbook for Casablanca 3
Angela & Isabelle Rideout of South Bucks - The villa was perfect, one of the most well presented and equipped we've been to in Spain.
Helen McGregor & Martin Chrudish of Edinburgh - First visit to Spain for us both. Had a great time - lovely place, enjoyed the pool and the beaches are well worth a visit.
Ann & Jim Rogers - Many thanks for sharing your home again with us - our 9th visit. No matter how many times we come to Oasis de Capistrano, it never loses its magic!
Madeleine & Vincenzo Averna - Well appointed villa in a lovely relaxing setting. It was really nice to have two terraces.
Claire & Alain Solanilla - Two weeks is far too short! Our fourth visit to Nerja and this is by far the best home we have stayed in.
Jackie & Dougie Walker - Treated ourselves to this holiday for our 1st anniversary and loved it! Just a completely relaxing and chilled out week. The villa was so well equipped and cosy that we spent hours every day on the lovely terraces.
Simon & Heather - The complex was ideal, just what we were looking for.
