Jardines de Burriana is a small development situated approximately five minutes walk from Burriana Beach. Burriana Beach, almost a resort in itself, is also a ‘Blue Flag’ beach with many water sports and activities. It has an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. Nerja town centre/Balcon de Europa can be reached by a tweny minutes walk along by the Parador hotel and picturesque Carabeo.

The Nerja / Burriana area

Nerja is situated between the Sierras and the Mediterranean sea, about 45 minutes east of Malaga, with allows easy access from all regional airports and motorways. Fiestas in and around the surrounding villages of Nerja are a regular occurrence and are usually colourful extravaganzas. A good way of acquainting yourself with the town is to enjoy a traditional horse and carriage ride through the streets.

In the heart of the old town, amble along the quaint cobbled streets and bustling alleyways abundant with tapas bars and chic restaurants. At dusk, stroll along the Balcon de Europa alongside the Mediterranean and be entertained by the artists and street vendors which add to the ambiance of this stylish resort.

The nearest airport to Nerja is Malaga, approximately 45 minutes away. Granada airport has recently ‘opened up’ and although approximately 1 ½ hours away, it has none of the queues and stress that you have at the larger airports. Almeria is approximate 2 ¼ hours away (mostly dual carriageway) and is another alternative.

Airport Transfers - We are able to arrange Airport Transfers from any Spanish airport to Nerja either by Taxi or Mini Bus at extremely competitive rates. As we use preferred companies, the drivers have knowledge of the location of most of our properties thus ensuring a smooth and efficient transfer from the airport.
