This lovely second floor apartment enjoys lovely views toward the sea and mountains, as it is only 50m away to the beach. Situated in an ideal location within Nerja, being close to restaurants and shops .

Tastefully furnished and decorated the 2 bedroom apartment can sleep up to 4 persons . A sliding door opens onto the balcony which receives sun during the morning and shade from the hot sun in the evening. The kitchen has an oven/hob, fridge/freezer, washer & microwave. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and built-in wardrobes.The second bedroom has 2 single beds .

This is an ideal apartment for someone wanting to be close to all amenities with lots of good bars and restaurants nearby and two small supermarkets.

The 'Balcon de Europa' is only 10mins walk away during which you pass a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and shops

To the east, just half an hour away, there is a 9-hole course in Salobrena and 20 minutes west, just off the motorway, is a 18 hole course at Baviera Golf club.

Some english channels still available but due to the changes of UK TV in spain not all channels are available.

The Nerja / Torrecilla Beach area

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000.

Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.

Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rises which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing.

Within the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop mountains and blue skies.

There are a number of supermarkets, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from.

The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach.

However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer. Nerja cuisine includes several specialities including De La Doncella (red mullet) and pescaito frito (fried fish) and ranging from top international cuisine to the ubiquitous sausage, eggs and chips!

Nerja is wonderfully positioned and if you wish to travel further afield you may wish to consider visiting:

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you all enjoyed your stay in Nerja. I just want to respond to a few points you high lighted, the settees are looking worn now and we are just in the process of replacing them but they were still clean and comfortable, the single beds in spain come in 2 sizes 90 and 105 and the single beds in the apartment are a 90 and 105 so one is not a camp bed it is just that one single is a large one . We don't put light bulbs in all the centre light fittings because the light fitting in the lounge and bedroom take 5 bulbs which is not needed because we have lamps everywhere so 3 bulbs in each is ample light . The apartment doesn't come with Air Con which is stated and the price we charge for a weeks stay in August which you paid was £320 for 4 people which is approx. 12 euros per person per day in August, you would be hard to find a 2 bed apartment in Nerja for less than 600 in august . So I feel you got very good value for money and the price reflects we don't have Air con, and the apartment in 1 min from the beach and all our other guests who have stayed agree it is a lovely apartment , well positioned and good value for money .

"Good value for money, close to all amenities. Great holiday."

Pleasant apartment with everything you need for a good holiday. Close to all amenities, supermarkets, beaches, restaurants, bars etc. Only about 10 mins walk to the Balcon de Europe. Lots of beaches to visit in walking distance. We would definitely stay again. Owners are very helpful and friendly and we would recommend their transfer service too. All in all a great place to stay!
