This property has recently been completely refitted. Each room sleeps two, has fitted wardrobes and a free-standing fan. An extra bed and travel cot are available on request. Kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board. Sitting room is comfortably furnished with two sofas, a DVD player and satellite TV. All linen and bathroom / kitchen towels are supplied. Property is wheelchair accessible via a ramp. Light-switches are at an appropriate height and the shower is in the style of a wet-room. It is very close to the heart of the town so a car is not needed, however off-road parking is available.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is famous for it's year-round holiday climate. Nerja / Torrecilla Beach area
Nerja is a very old settlement in Andalusia which has nevertheless avoided the tourist trap of western Málaga; there are no high-rise buildings in Nerja and the towncentre still retains it's old-world charm. The Balcón de Europa leads off the 15th-century square to spectacular views over the Mediterranean. Nerja boasts magnificent blue flag beaches, and further along the coast and inland is the breathtaking national park of Cerro Gordo, where visitors to the area can enjoy every level of activity from barbecues in the dedicated stone barbecue areas, easy mountain walks, or challenging up-river hikes!
There is a weekly market in Nerja on Tuesdays, trading clothes, shoes, leather goods, local handicrafts, produce grown nearby, souvenirs and much more. Sunday is host to a second-hand market. Nerja is overflowing with cafés, bars and restaurants showcasing local cuisine and catering for international tastes at all budget levels.
Torrecilla is a beautifully laid-out beach with a promenade running along it's length, linking El Playazo Beach to the town centre. The beach has a lifeguard, a beach library, many cafés and restaurants, and ice-cream and sweet kiosks.
How to get there
Nerja is a 45-minute drive from Málaga Airport, and less than two hours' drive from Granada airport.
Leaving Málaga Airport, take the exit for Almería. Within a few minutes´driving, turn off for Almería / Motril. Follow this motorway until you see the exit for Nerja. Take this exit. Drive through 3 roundabouts before crossing a bridge. Turn right at Supersol supermarket / next roundabout. Continue along this road, which turns sharply left at the bottom. Pass the Hotel Perla Marina on your right. Arce 2, where the apartment is located, is right next to that hotel.
