About the home

Fuentes de Nerja is a centrally located private complex next to the Torrecilla beach with a large communal pool open all year and lovely fountains. The apartment is located on the first floor, it consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, lving room and separate kitchen. There is a west facing terrace off the living room and can also be accessed from the master bedroom, it overlooks the fountains and is lovely and tranquil. A short walk takes you to the bustling old part of the town of Nerja with the Balcón de Europa, a favourite site with local people and visitors alike, and many cosmopolitan restaurants, cafes and shops nearby.

The first floor accommodation comprises of a fully equipped kitchen with fridge- freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, washing machine, toaster and kettle. The living room has 2 sofas (one of them a sofabed) with a dining area offering seating for 4. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, bidet, wash basin and WC. The apartment also has satellite television. Linen and towels are provided.

Outside off the lounge there is a west-facing balcony with side sea views, a table and chairs. The apartment is suitable for children, the elderly or disabled, wheelchair accessible as there is lift access up to the apartment.

Nerja is unspoilt by high-rise holiday development and retains its unique Andalucian character of whitewashed houses, windows with grilles, roof with two slopes etc. Nerja is not just a summer resort, it retains its unique charm all year round claiming the best climate in Europe. This is in part due to the surrounding Almijara mountains with its pine-clad slopes which shelter the resort and provide stunning views and ideal countryside for walkers. Nerja boasts many small coves reached by walking the Paseo de los Carabineros from Burriana to the Balcón.

The nearest eighteen hole golf course is Baviera Golf, situated in La Caleta (Velez Málaga) only 15kms from Nerja and Añoreta Golf Club which is 30kms away in Rincón de la Victoria near Malaga city.

Málaga airport to Nerja by car takes approx. 45 mins (50kms from Málaga). Taxis are easily available at the airport or you can take a bus from Malaga. There is an excellent bus service between Nerja and all major towns and villages. A trip to some of the nearby villages (Frigiliana, Cómpeta, Algarrobo) which form part of the Wine Route is a must. Granada is under 2 hours drive by car.
