A delightful 3 bedroom villa all on one level. The villa enjoys wonderful views to the sea from the large terrace and small garden. Shade is provided on the terrace by retractable blinds, offering the best of both worlds - sun or shade. The swimming pool has a paved surround with a lawn nearby. There is a huge lemon tree in the garden, perfect for gin and tonics! And, in season, the avocados from the surrounding trees are possibly the best in the world!

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Nerja, on the eastern Costa del Sol, is set on a rugged headland in an area of still unspoiled sandy beaches and sheltered coves, protected by a background of majestic mountains - the Sierra de Almijara. Fresh spring water from these mountains, together with a wonderful climate - an average of 320 days sunshine a year, has made the surrounding countryside a horticultural paradise, with crops ranging from sugar cane to strawberries, tomatoes to avocados, plus a rich harvest of citrus fruit.
Nerja area
Nerja is a great base for exploring the wonders of Andalucia. The Alhambra Palace at Granada is within a 2 hour drive, and Malaga with the Picasso Museum is just 45 minutes away. Sevilla, Ronda and Cordoba are all within driving distance, and a day out in Gibraltar is another possibility. Closer to Nerja are wonderful areas for walking and bird watching. Nerja is a great winter destination with plenty of sun. It is a 2 hour drive from the SKI RESORT of Sierra Nevada near to Granada
How to get there
Take advantage of cheap flights and fly mid-week. At Villa Bellavista you can come and go on any day. Most budget airlines fly to Malaga (58Kms) and Granada (about 2 hour drive). And you can pick up your hire car at either airport.

Further details indoors: Surrounded on three sides by avocado trees, Bellavista is a real delight. This attractive property is set in an elevated position, and as the name suggests, there are lovely views looking over the tops of more avocados towards Nerja and the sea. Access to the property is off the Nerja/Frigiliana road along about 900m of unmade lane. This is easy to negotiate even for the most timid driver. Entrance to the villa is through the pretty garden to a lovely big shady terrace, well furnished with table and chairs. This is a great place for those al fresco meals, or just for sitting, chatting and gazing at the lovely view across the avocado trees down to the sea. The front door goes in from this terrace to the large, comfortably furnished lounge/dining room. There is a well equipped open plan American style kitchen separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar. This kitchen has a full electric oven, vitroceramic hob and a dishwasher, with a granite work top and cupboards. A small passage goes off from the dining area to two bedrooms and a refurbished bathroom. The refurbished shower room and third bedroom are off the far end of the lounge.
Further details outdoors: Outside, at one end of the covered terrace, is the barbecue room. This houses a purpose built barbecue and a paella burner, perfect for experimenting with Spanish meals. This room also houses the washing machine. Outside, beside the pool is a spacious paved terrace, a small lawn and a wonderful lemon tree. The views from the lawn are delightful, and this is a perfect spot to relax by the pool. There are plenty of sun loungers beside the pool. The whole property is fenced or walled and gated, a welcome attribute particularly for families with small children. The pool and terrace areas are completely private. There is plenty of parking space for two cars.

The welcome pack was outsndig - b far he most comprehnive an houghtful we have received during any of our villa stays with many different companies and private owners. The representative was extremely pleasant, helpfuland knowedgable. In fact a lovley lady for whom nothing would be too much trouble. The villa owner was there when we left, to wish us a good journey and present us with some fruit he had just picked. This was definitely a holiday to remember.
