This beautiful 3 bedroomed Andalucian property is ideal for a large family, group or 2 families sharing because of the interconnecting stairs to a separate self-contained dwelling with its own entrance on the lower floor. The property can be rented together as a 3-bed or separately as a 2-bed house if a 3-bed is not required. The apartment can also be let separately for a couple or one person only. There is total privacy for large families e.g. with grandparents who require their own space. From the entrance there is a separate, large kitchen, then dining/lounge area leading to a balcony with iron spiral staircase to a large roof terrace, ideal for parties & barbecues. Downstairs form lounge there are 2 bedrooms & one full bathroom. Down the next stairs is the studio apartment with American-style kitchen and lounge, double bed on mezzanine level and full bathroom and walk in wardrobe. Another private entrance and terrace is to be found on the lower passageway level.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Set on the coastline of the Costa del Sol, with the mountains as a perfect backdrop. Ideal for all types of holidays, from lazy beach holidays to winter and summer activity holidays. Plenty of activities are available; skiing, golf, horseriding, walking, watersports, etc... The historical city of Granada, Malaga centre, and smaller, delightful Andalusian villages like Ronda, Frigiliana, all within easy reach. The ski resort of the Sierra Nevada is open December to March and is 1 hr 40 mins drive away.
Nerja / Punta Lara area
Nerja Cultural Centre shows films in English & Spanish. There are plenty of bars, with & without entertainment, restaurants, waters ports and outdoor activities, including a running track and indoor swimming pool amongst other sporting facilities, all available through the Town hall. The Tourist information Office at the Town hall has all the information and we provide a general info pack also. Additionally, you can enjoy walking, horse riding, skiing, golf or simply relaxing. There is a donkey sanctuary and plenty of children's play areas in the town or on the larger beaches. On the urbanisation there is an excellent pool with children's pool and lifeguard from April to October (dates not precise). On all the beaches there is easy access to bars, restaurants, showers and toilets.
How to get there
ARRIVAL AT MALAGA AIRPORT/DIRECTIONS TO PUNTA LARA Nº54 1 It can be a fairly long walk from your arrival gate to ‘luggage reclaim’ so, if you have any walking difficulties, we recommend that you book complimentary buggy transfer via your flight operator. 2 Car representatives usually wait just outside the arrival hall gates. (Don’t forget your driving licence!) 3 BY TAXI - Taxis are parked immediately outside the Arrivals Hall. One taxi costs approx. 80-85€ to Punta Lara min. from the airport at the moment. 4 BY ARRANGEMENT - A cheaper option would be to book our service to pick you up. Details of this service are on our website under the section ‘Extra Services provided by Casas Lorca’. 5 BY BUS - If you are travelling by bus, follow the clearly displayed overhead signs to the covered walkway outside the airport main doors where the bright green bus leaves every half-hour between 7am and 11pm to Malaga Bus Station. The Nerja bus is run by ‘Alsina Graells’ (red/cream coaches). Buy your ticket at their office inside the bus station building prior to boarding. When returning to the airport board the airport bus (No 19) at stand 30 and buy your ticket on board. 6 BY CAR - If travelling by car you should leave the airport following the ‘Salida’ (exit) sign. Once through the ticket barrier watch out for the Malaga sign: E15/A7 on the right, which takes you to the main road where you turn right. Go straight ahead at the roundabout and after 500yds make sure you are in the left-hand lane to Malaga Centre. The road goes up and over the top and loops onto another motorway. Pick up the signs Motril, Almeria and the E15/A7 motorway, which are towns after Nerja on the motorway. These signs will lead you to the correct motorway
Do not go into the centre of Malaga. (The airport is some 10 kms west of Malaga city centre and you are travelling east.) You will pass several large stores/warehouses including Toys R Us and Continente.)
Stay on the motorway following the Motril/Almeria signs. Where the motorway splits, ignore the signs for Granada and Seville, stay left. You will go through two small tunnels and one long one.
After approx 45 mins (depending on the speed of your driving!) you will go through the long tunnel then you should watch for the Frigiliana/Nerja sign and this is your exit from the motorway. Leave the motorway by the slip road for Frigiliana/Nerja and turn immediately right onto the main road which goes downhill straight over 2 roundabouts, then a 3rd roundabout on the outskirts of Nerja.
At this roundabout you take the first exit on the right and follow the road on, as if you were going away from Nerja on the coast road with the sea on your left hand side. You will pass the Repsol petrol station on your right and a little further along, the 'Las Marinas de Nerja' Hotel on your left. The turning on your right for Punta Lara is immediately after this. There is now a small sign for Urbanización Punta Lara. (If you reach the roundabout you have gone too far). As you turn right, there is another turning immediately right – do not take this, it is the next one right, Calle Angelines, which will lead you up into Punta Lara. As you get to the top of the hill, carry straight on, past the ‘T’ sign and the road will start to go downhill. On the right hand side is the property, Nº 54. Park on the actual pavement in front of the house, if you can, or further down the road.

Further details indoors: This property has 3 good sized bedrooms. There are 2 single beds on the first floor and one double. The other double bed is on the lower floor in a separate dwelling. Each bedroom has built in wardrobes with plenty of storage for a family. all bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans for summer and heaters for winter. There is a large fully fitted kitchen and open plan lounge and dining area with a further sofa bed making a total occupancy of 8 people. A large roof terrace and further balcony is accessed via the lounge through sliding patio doors. The roof terrace and balcony are equipped with patio loungers, tables and chairs. The main lounge area has seating for 6 and a further seating for 2 more on the lower floor dwelling. There is plenty of parking outside the property or in a nearby parking area. There is a Scandinavian staircase leading to the lower floor (self contained studio) sleeping 2 people in a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also English TV and a full bathroom. This floor is very spacious, 50m2 and has its own entrance and terrace, with patio furniture. Another washing machine and water boiler is available.
Further details outdoors: This house/Villa/holiday home is situated in the meandering quiet streets of Punta Lara. There are 4 steps to the front door. The house is approximately 3 minutes walk from the community swimming pool and a further 5 minutes to the nearby Playazo beach. The town of Nerja is a 30 minute walk along the beach where there are numerous restaurants that sell fresh meat & sea food. A tranquil area and ideal for families. Tennis courts are nearby.

Smoking is preferred outside on balcony or roof terrace. The property is thoroughly cleaned beforehand and all laundry provided with the exception of beach towels. Please bring your own. No pets allowed in this property. Hire items for babies are available.

We offer reductions for longer lets in low/mid seasons, and late bookings, subject to availability. Minimum rates apply for 4-6 night stays in low season or pro-rata at any other time. Payment in euros through PayPal or bank transfer for easy payment. Booking terms are 25% rental deposit upon reservation and balance 4 weeks before arrival date. We do provide other services and a booking form which is sent out in answer to initial enquiry.
