The apartment overlooks the El Salon Beach, has well maintained, gated communal gardens, a good sized pool ( all year ! ) The Complex is situated in a traffic free location with the advantage of reserved parking. The apartment comprises one bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a big bed 1,60 mts, x 2,00 mts with two matraces, living room with a sofa bed (sleeps 1) with patio doors leading to the sunny south faced terrace overlooking the gardens and sea, kitchenette and bathroom (shower) with washing machine.
In winter you will enjoy to see the sun rise from your terrace & the sun will shine till the evening into the apartment. The exposed corner position gives you a special opened view.

The region of Eastern Malaga (Axarquia) is the quiet part of the Costa del Sol. It is developed, but the villages have not been spoilt by mass tourism. You can meander through the bordering nature park Sierra Tejeda/ Almijara (2.068 m) where the mountains are tumbling into the sea. Discover the small beaches, the famous Caves of Nerja and the fabulous Alhambra in Granada. The Costa del Sol (sun-coast) has an average of 320 days of sun per year. The temperature in winter (Nov- Feb) hardly ever falls below 18ºC. So the weather is spring like It is warm enough to sunbath on the beach! . The Sierra mountain range protects the area from the cold north winds. In the summer months, there is a light breeze that keeps the temperature pleasant. Here you will find an almost perfect climate
The Nerja area
From Malaga airport you can reach Nerja by the new highway in about 50 min. The Arabs called it 'Narixa' or 'Narija' (abundant fountain), and this location is settled on a magnificent natural spot on the spurs of the Almijara mountain range, Its tropical landscape marked out by plantations of sugar cane, offers on the other hand in its nearby mountains a great deal of small and big game. Its charming popular architecture, with the white walls dotted with flowers, oozes Andalusia flavour and it is in harmony with the marvellous view we can admire from the 'Balcon de Europa' situated on a cliff. Nerja also boasts a lively nightlife bases upon typical restaurants, discos, music cafes, flamenco clubs, the well as shops with articles for all tastes.

From Malaga airport you reach Nerja by the new highway in aprox 45 min. The apartment is situated in a quiete complex only 2 minutes’ walk from the centre of Nerja – the Balcón de Europa. The apartment overlooks the El Salon Beach
On arrival you will be met by the owners of the property, who live nearby. We will supply a welcome pack of bread, milk etc. Late arrivals are no problem. Further we will be happy tp bring you up to score on the local area i.e. shopping, restaurants, sightseeing!

My husband and I spend a week in March at this apartment, its ideal for a weeks stay, small, good location and lovely views, it is in need of a slight makeover. What it lacks in 21 century fineries it makes up for by the owner Frank, who it was a joy for us to meet. He was charming and most welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for him to do. We made our booking four months prior, but six weeks before our arrival the owners of the apartments decided to have the pool and surrounding repaired and repaved starting on the day we arrived, in fact, the man with the pneumatic drill arriving on the same day as us! Frank met us at the bus stop and took us to the flat having informed us of the work being undertaken. We were hardly in the flat during the day so it really didn't ruin our stay. Lovely Frank (who's as handsome as a movie star and a lovely family man too), to compensate for the inconvenience we might have been caused he gave us a wonderful day out on Sunday, a 4 hour tour all around Nerja followed by a visit to he daughters' pony club. Our visit to this apartment was made even more enjoyable having met this lovely family. |

Had a most enjoyable holiday in this great apartment. The location is just wonderful , with uninterrupted views of the sea and situated close to town centre and restaurants. Sun shone on the spacious terrace from early morning until late evening. Reserved parking was invaluable in this central location. |

This apartment was in an ideal place - overlooking the sea with a view to the Balcon. As it's a corner apartment it is sunny all day (as Frank says in his description). The apartment itself is fairly basic inside - nothing fancy. Some things could do with updating ie the TV (tiny!), some of the kitchen equipment is basic or lacking. The bathroom is a bit dismal but the bedroom is fine with a very comfy bed (but bed linen is poor). It did get a bit cold when we were there but there is no heating. So all in all, this apartment is good because of where it is - you couldnt get a better location but dont expect a high standard of furniture or fittings. We had a lovely stay and Frank was very helpful. |
