About the home

This pueblo villa is situated on the Oasis development which is one of the most attractive and desirable locations in Nerja and is set in extensive subtropical gardens. The property has an open outlook towards an old aqueduct, farmland and the sea from its large terrace.

The property is approached down two short flights of steps and after entering is on one level. There is a twin bedded room with full en suite bathroom. To the front of the property there is a double bedroom with french doors opening onto a generous terrace with views over the garden. There is also a lounge with dining area which has french doors to the terrace. The bedrooms have built in wardrobes and chest of drawers giving ample storage and the double bedroom has a safe installed. There is a modern,well equipped kitchen and the house has a further shower room. The terrace contains a table, 4 chairs, sunbeds and parasols.

The property has been modernised and refurbished and is well furnished and maintained throughout.

The property has satelite TV, DVD, radio/CD player .The combined air conditioning/ heating is very welcome and it also has fans and heaters. It has in addition a washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

The kitchen has a generous supply of crockery, cutlery and pans, hob, full oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.

Towels and bedding are provided weekly. You only have to bring your beach towel.

Further details outdoors:
An internal private road encircles the development providing adequate parking in all seasons. There are two community swimming pools and a good sized children's pool. There is a pool restaurant and bar adjoining the main pool and a community office and boules court. Right at the entrance to the development there is another restaurant/bar and the local town circuit bus leaves from here. The community employs its own security personnel. There is direct access to Burriana beach by a path.

This development is in the Andalucian style and provides a relaxing and restful venue for a holiday.

Further details

If a week falls between two charging periods the charge for that week will be that for the period into which the major part of the week falls.

Upon making a booking a deposit of £50 per week booked is required with the balance payable eight weeks prior to departure. A returnable damage deposit of £100 is also required with the final payment.

Conditions

ARRIVALS and DEPARTURES. Except by prior arrangement entry can not be given before 1600 on the day of arrival and the property must be vacated by 1000 on the day of departure.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol was one of the first areas to be developed and some parts are very definitely over developed. Although Nerja has expanded it has avoided the excesses of over-building and is still a very Spanish town which makes it a pleasant destination in all seasons. Nerja is situated beside the sea and behind the town the foothills of the Sierra Almijara rise to form a very scenic background to the whole area. Locally the white villages of Frigiliana and Competa can be visited easily by car or bus. Granada, Cordoba, Ronda and Gibraltar are easily accessible by car or coach. There are various National Parks in the area and places of historical interest are many and varied.

The Nerja area

Burriana beach is the main Nerja beach. It has most activities associated with the sea including paragliding and waterskiing and a good selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. There are various other beaches in Nerja and area, many of which offer facilities .

Many people enjoy walking and there is good hill walking for the more energetic. There is a pavement from the Oasis all the way to Maro where the famous caves are well worth a visit. Maro itself is an attractive village.

The balco de Europa is the place to be on a Summer's evening when locals and tourists alike flock to it. There is often entertainment on later in the evening and it is a pleasant place to visit at any time of day. For the young and young at heart there are several nightclubs.

For the more energetic there are tennis courts nearby and at the opposite side of town are the public boules courts.

A little further afield there are many interesting places to visit as diverse as the waterslides at Torrre del mar and the wonderful Alhambra in Granada.

The area has something for everyone. Nerja itself is a relaxing destination mainly for couples and families but with plenty to do if so desired.
