The main Burriana Beach or the centre of town can be reached by car in 5 minutes. Directions from Malaga airport are easy to follow with the journey taking approximately 45 minutes. Oasis de Capistrano is famous for its beautiful flowering shrubs, plants, palm trees and lush green grass all around. The standard of maintenance upheld by the ground staff ensures its continuing reputation as the best development in Nerja.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa Del Sol has a backdrop of spectacular mountain scenery and edges on to the Mediterranean Sea. Stretching approximately 100 miles along Europe's most southerly coast, the Costa offers a varied landscape stretching from the Rock of Gibraltar in the south to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada north of Granada. Depending on what you enjoy, you can drive 10 minutes from the coast and explore typical white Andalucian villages, sample local wines and tapas while watching a Flamenco show or take in one of the 40 Golf courses along the Costa Del Sol. There are on average 320 days of sun on this coast so there is plenty of opportunity to visit the numerous beaches, try scuba diving, go horse riding or hiking in the mountains or shop at the numerous street markets.
Five minutes drive from your peaceful haven in Oasis Village will take you into Nerja town. Plentiful parking can be found close to the famous Balcon de Europa and here you can enjoy the panoramic sea views and stroll around the plaza adjacent to the historic Spanish white church of Iglesis El Salvador. Take a seat at one of the cafe bars while you watch the artists and musicians entertaining passers-by. In the immediate area, there are numerous good cafe bars and restaurants serving a variety of European cuisines with some including dinner entertainment such as Flamenco. Why not take a horse and carriage ride around the town, or alternatively walk along the promenade stopping-off at the numerous beach coves along the way. The blue flag award-winning Burriana Beach is also only 5 minutes drive from the house and the famous Nerja caves can be reached in a couple of minutes. Or how about a drive to Granada to visit the Alhambra or the Sierra Nevada mountains? Both are around one hour away.

"Just what we wanted"
This property is ideal for a couple. It has been refurbished recently and has a refurbished bathroom with a large shower cubicle and powerful shower and a new kitchen with a full oven, hob and microwave. The furnishings are of a good quality and we very appreciated the modern TV with Freesat. The Oasis de Capistrano is very well kept and is a mature development but is not a dated or tired. It is quite a walk into Nerja but we were aware of this before booking and there is a footpath down to Burriana Beach for use during daylight hours. I would have given this property 5/5 as it is one of the best we have stayed in in this area but we do sometimes like to self cater (yes I know we are on holiday and are probably mad!!!) and found the equipment for self catering only adequate so reluctantly gave it 4/5. We stayed at the end of November and had 5 out of 7 days of sunshine. We enjoyed our stay would definitely book this accommodation again if wanting a 1 bed place in Nerja.
Thank you for your valued feedback. We will improve the self catering utensils and facilities based on your comments. Best wishes, Rob.

"Ideal place for a couple visiting Nerja"
Apartment was clean, tidy, and had absolutely everything you might need to self-cater, Rob even provided a cafetiere upon request. The rear terrace gets sun nearly all day.
The apartment is located less than 10 minutes to the pool, and a pass is provided. Refreshments are available poolside, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Full sunbeds are available at 4 euro, and chairs at 2 euro - both prices per day.
The apartment is situated close enough to walk into Nerja, or out to the caves, but also far enough away to provide that peace and quiet we really enjoyed. There is a shuttle bus into Nerja, and taxis are about 6-7 euro.
Getting there, we took public transport (bus Malaga Airport to Malaga, second bus Malaga to Nerja) cost about 7.50 euro as opposed to about 65 euro in taxi, and Diane (housemaid) was there to meet us. We also did day trips to the beautiful local village of Frigliana, to Granada (about 3 hours on the 0630 bus), and to Cordoba (beware, this was 5.5 hours each way !). All leave from the bus station - just on the fringe of Nerja town and about 20 minutes walking.
Nerja town although quite touristy, retains its beauty and has some fabulous local shops, bars and restaurants.
There is no internet in the apartment, but about 5 minutes away towards Nerja there is a hotel which offers internet access at about 2 euro per 10 minutes - you can have a drink and surf the net whilst listening to the eighties music they prefer there !
There is a reasonable supermarket about 10 minutes walk at which one can purchase most supplies at low prices. The main supermarket is in Nerja itself.
If traveling by car, it is easy enough to find, and parking seemed plentiful. There is also a taxi rank located within the complex.
The owner (Rob) was fantastic and allayed all of our concerns before we arrived so we knew what to bring - and what not to - nothing seemed too much trouble.
One room is air-conditioned (bedroom) and because the temperatures were up in the late 30s/early 40s the entire time, you might find this is a real refuge from the heat.
A decent barbeque is provided and we also had carbon and lighters provided - not sure if this is always the case, but it made life very easy, and we enjoyed a couple of these in the time we were there.
Food and drink very cheap (you can get decent wine for about 1.50 to 2 euro per bottle, beer for about 1.50 euro), and if you want to watch football, there are specialist sports bars close to the supermarket.
The people in Nerja are exceptionally friendly, and if you speak Spanish, you will get the best out of this holiday.
The beaches are all down steep roads so be prepared for some hard walking, and also get there early - they were really busy when we were there (July). Some really good restaurants on the beach where you can get a decent asado (barbeque open air), or a real paella.

Myself and my partner had a perfect stay here, I have stayed at the oasis resort many times and this was the best villa I have stayed at there. It was easily accessible, had a lovely view. I found it really helpful that we had someone to meet when we first got there to show us how it all worked and were able to contact them if there was a problem (which there wasn't). Was very clean and had every thing we needed. Would definitely recommend this to people and will be staying there again!

Quiet residential area - nice grounds, pool and surroundings. Excellent restaurant at the top of the road. House was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Reasonable walk into town centre but local bus available. All in all a good spot.

"Great Winter Break"
Just had a four night stay - which was clearly not really long enough! We were very lucky with the weather and so we got to make the most of the patio at the apartment. The accommodation is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, very well equipped with air conditioning in the bedroom and a wood burner in the lounge.
The setting of the Oasis Capistrano is very pleasant, a quiet and very well maintained environment. (We didn't try the pools or bars - it was January after all!!)
A great place for a break from the British winter.

"Perfect for a relaxing holiday in great surroundings"
The accommodation was modern, easily accessed, spotlessly clean and comes with everything you would need for a self catering (or not) vacation. The villa has a private terrace for eating/sun bathing and comes with a large screen TV that shows most UK channels and well kitted out kitchen.
The complex (Oasis de Capistrano) is very well laid out and clean with well tended gardens, has swimming pools, plenty of relaxation grass areas and its own bar/restaurant (Summer months only). Handily placed for the beaches, supermarket and the 'Balcon' which is the main hub area hub of the Town.
I have no hesitation in recommending this 1 bedroom property for a stay in Nerja.

"Perfect peaceful retreat"
This was a return trip for us following the renovations. Excellent apartment, changes made it more of a home from home, everything you would need for self catering available if you needed it (we were lazy and ate out every night). Very quiet peaceful location, good base for exploring the surrounding area from. Pool quiet and restaurant served really good meals in a relaxing atmosphere and if you don't want to go down all the steps accross from the apartment it is accessible by walking down the road. Another restaurant at the top of the road was also really nice though very busy. Supermarket approx 15 mins walk away though is closed on Sundays. Beach a short car journey away which was busier than we last remembered it though big enough to get away from others if you wanted too. Having a car is an advantage due to the location of the apartment.

"A lovely apartment in a lovely setting"
We stayed at the apartment in early October. The apartment itself is lovely and well equipped with everything you need and has a large private terrace. The area is so peaceful and quiet and the gardens and landscaping are immaculate.
There is a large supermarket nearby for those essentials and a hotel serving excellent food, as we found out on the one night we couldn't be bothered to go to the centre of Nerja.
Nerja is an authentically Spanish town with tapas bars in abundance, little winding streets and squares where you can just sit back, relax and take in the atmosphere.
All in all, a wonderful holiday and the apartment was a wonderful base to enjoy it from.
