About this location
The Andalucia region

There is plenty to do and see in Malaga at the centre of the Costa del Sol.
The" Alcazaba"-The Fortress/Palace of Muslim Governors which dates back to 1057.Not to be missed the views from Castillo De Gibralfaro set on a hillside overlooking the city. For those who enjoy their art there is of course the Picasso Museum
Nerja has a temperate climate which means it is a great place to visit any time of year. With its impressive Balcon De Europa and Promenade which affords spectacular views up and down the coast Lined with cafes and restaurants and in the summer home to artists vendors and street musicians lending to an enjoyable atmosphere.
The Oasis de Capistrano is just a 15 minute stroll from town.As it,s name suggests it is an Oasis set in beautiful gardens overshadowed by the Eagle Aquduct which dates back to 19th century.
Not far are the Nerja Caves and the beautiful Village of Frigiliani.

"Fabulous holiday - private balcony with view to die for !!!"
This is our 2nd time to this lovely apartment, we visited last year also. It has all the facilities you could ask for. There is a very relaxed atmosphere about it. No noisy neighbours or bumping music, just peace and tranquility. There is a private patio/balcony area with a built in BBQ, nice if you decide to have a night in to chill out. The apartment offers a TV with many satellite channels, ipod docking station, good size fridge and ample kitchen, including a full sized cooker which was nice for a change, not just your basic 2 ring set up that you usually get when you go self catering. The apartment is set on a peaceful, clean and easily accessed habitation from the main road into Nerja. The apartments are set in beautiful gardens and it is nice to just walk around the grounds for a stroll after a long day sunbathing around one of the two pools. We used to go in the top pool as it was nearer to the apartment and tended to be a little quieter. At the main pool there is a poolside bar and a nice restaurant that does good value meals if you do not want to venture to the nearby town areas of either Nerja or Burriana Beach. At Burriana Beach you will find some excellent restaurants and plenty of bars, all quite low key so again not pumping music or raves, just nice for an evening walk, a meal out and a few drinks to finish off with. There are some quite steep hills to walk around getting to Burriana so if mobility is an issue, this may cause a few problems but nothing that can't be overcome as there is a couple of taxi ranks on the habitation so it would only cost a few euros by taxi or just outside the apartments on the main road you can catch a bus (for a bargain price of 1 euro) into the quaint town centre of Nerja where you can also find an abundance of nice restaurants and bars. Taxi back from Nerja centre to the apartment complex may cost you around 7 euros but if you don't want to make the approximate 35 minute walk back, it's a good option.
There are a few good supermarkets nearby, the best one we found for value for money was a Lidl just on the outskirts of Nerja but only about 10 minutes walk away there is a Super Sol which stocks absolutely everything and is also quite reasonable.
At Nerja you can go and visit the donkeys in the Donkey Sanctuary, entrance is free and for a small donation of 2 euros you will be given a bucket of food that you can feed to the donkeys and the other animals such as the pot belly pigs. It's an enjoyable experience to all but especially if you have children. You can even adopt your own donkey !!! Mine's called Jack.
\Nerja caves are only a short distance away from the apartment, well worth a visit even if it is just to get out of the hot sun for a bit. You can also take a nice walk (about 15-20 mins) to the next coastal village of Maro. There are a few nice restaurants in Maro, so if you're looking for something a little bit different, then try this walk.
Overall, this was a lovely accommodation, we were lucky to have come across it and as we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and all the facilities offered, we will be returning again and again and again.
Thank you for your lovely comments. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again soon.
