Salida Del Sol (Sunrise) Villa is a quality, fully air conditioned villa. The villa is very spacious and Ideal for families or groups of up to 10 adults. The property which benefits from all day sun is ideal for families seeking sun, sea, sports and quiet relaxing holidays, a shaded separate terrace is ideal for relaxing at all times of the day. There are four bedrooms with their own bathrooms of which two have stunning views from the spacious balconies overlooking the pool terrace. The panoramic views of the mountains, sea and Nerja from the pool terrace are magnificent.
The villa is situated in the pretty quiet Punta Lara District of Nerja only 4 minutes from beach. The Playazo beach still retains much of its original character, stretching from Punta Lara to Nerja, bordered by farming land, a few boat yards and some bar/restaurants serving tapas, paella and other good local Spanish food. The beautiful old town of Nerja is 2 km away and only 5 minutes by bus or car. Why not walk into Nerja at a leisurely pace along the flat beach road which takes about 25 minutes and enjoy the wonderful scenery!

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol boasts more than 320 days of sunshine a year making it a perfect all year round holiday destination. There are many whitewashed Andalusian villages scattered in the surrounding mountains, these include Competa, Comares, Alcaucin and Periana. Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace are just over an hours drive east of Nerja, whilst two and a half hours drive to the west is Gibraltar (passports required). Malaga city has its charming historic 'old town' which is where the new Picasso Museum is located. Seville and Cordoba, both fascinating cities, are slightly further a field, an overnight stay would be recommended. Closer to home are the villages of Frigiliana and Maro and of course the famous Nerja Caves. Adjacent to the caves is a National Park, ideal for walks or picnics
Nerja / Punta Lara area
The charming old town of Nerja is only a 45 minute drive from Malaga Airport. It provides the ideal setting to suit all your holiday requirements. Nerja is not just a summer resort, it retains its unique charm all year round claiming the best climate in Europe. This is due in part to the surrounding Almijara Mountains that shelter the resort and provide stunning views and ideal countryside for walkers. Traditional festivals are still celebrated in Nerja some of which include Holy week and the festival of San Isidro celebrated on May 15th with a parade starting at the Balcon de Europa and ending at the caves with a big country style party Nerja town itself has a delightful selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, many of which are centred around the famous 'Balcon de Europa'. The palm fringed Balcon offers superb views of the local coastline and is a perfect place to stroll on a summers evening. Nerja offers a number of sandy beaches and small pretty coves. You can enjoy local dishes including paella or freshly caught fish in the many beach restaurants to be found. Nerja is situated approx one and a half hours drive from Sierra Nevada skiing resort (Granada), which has hosted world cup events. Nearby places to visit include the famous Caves at Maro and the picturesque white village of Frigiliana.

Further details indoors: Easy access to villa is via a black security gate at ground floor level. Then through a white front door leading into a hallway, fully fitted kitchen with views to pool and mountains through a beautiful archway. The lounge is spacious, airy with a dining area. It includes two comfortable leather sofas, coffee table, side tables, satellite TV with DVD player, soft lighting, extending dining suite, white stone fireplace. There are two large patio doors leading on to the open pool terrace with magnificent views. There is also a spacious double bedroom at this level with en-suite bathroom, ideal for anyone finding stairs difficult. Upstairs there is 1 large double and 1large twin bedroom each with en-suite shower/bathrooms and balconies with panoramic views.
Downstairs there is a large twin bedroom with own shower/bathroom which also includes a single bed/chair (portable bed also available). This area has a full size table tennis table. There is a fully equipped laundry room including washing machine, second large fridge and fitted units. Private garage.
For your security there are three safes fitted in the bedrooms.
To help prevent young children and babies accessing the pool there is a lockable gate at the side of the villa. When patio doors and gate are closed, there is no access to the pool.
Further details outdoors: The villa has an open sunny terrace with gated access to a large private pool (with under water lighting) surrounded by terracotta terracing and wonderful panoramic views to mountains, sea and Nerja. It is fully equipped with quality patio furniture, 6 sun loungers and a large stone BBQ with outside sink. A raised separate area with sun blind provides complete shade for those very quiet relaxing moments, this also includes a round glass table with 4 chairs.
The villa is completely safe, surrounded by a wall and entered by a black security gate. Access is easy because there are no steps leading to the villa which makes this ideal for young children of all ages and the less mobile.
There is plenty of parking to the side of the villa and room for one car at entrance.
Further details
English-speaking representative on hand 7 days per week if you have any problems. All linen and towels provided except for beach towels. Welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, bacon, eggs, water and Cava etc. provided FREE. Two cots, two high chairs, baby bath changing mat already in villa provided FREE of charge. Villa will sleep up to 10 persons in 4 bedrooms. Representative will meet you at the villa when you arrive to hand over the keys. Refundable breakages deposit to be given to agent on arrival and will be refunded within a few weeks, presuming house is left as found. Internet access throughout the villa.
