About the home

This is a beautiful two-bedroomed end of terrace house with private walled garden with large terrace for sunbathing and dining al fresco. From the terrace there are magnificiant sea views. Our house sleeps four. Private back garden and large sun terrace suitable for children to play and adults to sunbathe. Full cable tv with Sky Sports, BBC, ITV etc. Two communal swimming pools with snack bars and a children's pool within 150 metres. Small mini supermarket within two minute walk and large supermarket within five minute walk. There are also several restaurants nearby. Tennis Courts to rent within five minute walk. Burriana Beech five minutes drive. Nerja Town ten minute walk. El Capistrano is an ideal setting for a family holiday but is especially suitable for for the grown-ups to escape, or to have a romantic holiday in the sun. Children's playground 7 minutes walk. Excellent Clinic with English speaking doctors 5 minutes away. Gym facilities approximately 7 minutes walk. Nerja is beautiful Spanish town, with plenty of good restaurants and bars suitable for all tastes. There are many lovely Tapas Bars to enjoy a glass of vino tinto and watch the world go by. There are many lovely shops along the whitewashed, cobbled traditional town streets of this beautiful Andalusian town of Nerja. There is an Aqua Park approximately 20 minutes drive away and a large shopping centre near same. There is also the beautiful caves of Nerja to visit. There is a Golf Course approximately 20 minutes drive away. Please note there is no smoking allowed in our home.

Two large bedrooms each with their own balcony and lovely views. Family bathroom with shower. Brand-new fully fitted kitchen with large fridge-freezer, all mod cons, dishwasher, self-cleaning oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Downstairs WC. Large bright living area with dining-table and six chairs, Two seater sofa and three seater sofa, and two easy chairs. Plenty of good books in English to suit all tastes and family games. CD player. Large sun terrace with dining table and four chairs for dining al fresco complete with magnificant sea views. This terrace is lovely to sunbathe during the day and is just as lovely in the evening to watch the sun go down and have a meal or glass of wine . The lower garden has grass and this is also suitable for sunbathing and for children to play or for the grown-ups to lie back and enjoy the peace and tranquility, or to read a book under the Orange Tree. There is a table and three chairs in this area which gets the sun for most of the day also. There is a utility room at garden level with washing machine and a shower.

Large sun terrace with stunning views of the sea and sunshine all day long! There is a dining table and four chairs for al fresco dining and a barbeque. Four sun loungers on terrace. Private secure walled garden with grass - safe for children. El Capistrano is a beautiful Urbinisation with beautiful pathways to walk filled with magnificant flowers and the glorious scents of same. Outside our kitchen window is a lovely orange tree which fills with magnificant oranges in September/October. We have a further orange tree in our garden, and you may feel free to pick an orange for your breakfast! Casa Sophie is particularly suitable for grown-ups to escape and have a wonderful holiday in the sun. It would be also suitable for a romantic break.

Casa Sophie's Private Walled Garden

The Costa del Sol region

Nerja is probably the most beautiful place in the Costa Del Sol. 50 kilometres to the east of Malaga what was once a sleepy fishing village is now a vibrant cosmopolitan town which retains its uniquely Spanish character and old world charm. The white washed houses and narrow winding streets, the terraces over-flowing with geraniums and most importantly the warm welcoming people make it a great place to holiday.

Casa Sophie is located a 15 minute walk from the Balcon de Europa.
It is also a five minute drive to the Buriana Beach and the internationally famous Caves of Nerja

“Lovely place to relax” We had a lovely holiday. Casa Sophie has been tastefully updated,was clean with a well equipped kitchen - a real home from home! The views from the balconies were lovely with plenty of space for sun loungers plus a lovely private garden. Nerja itself is a great place to visit with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to have a wander round. Would definitely recommend.

“Wonderful vacation” We have just had a wonderful 3 weeks vacation in Nerja and Casa Sophie. The villa is perfect with a lovely garden and very good terraces with sun all day. The villa is very very nice inside with all the facilitys you could ever need and the standard is high. The villa was so clean and well kept so we felt really at home in Casa Sophie. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful and we really enjoyed Capistarna Village and also Nerja town. Patricia (the owner) was so fantastic - she helped all us with things to do and places to eat and she always answered all our mails at once - we could not have asked for more -so thanks Patricia:-) We would strongly recommend Casa Sophie to anyone because it was just fantastic. “Very homely Villa in peaceful location” Casa Sophie is a superb villa with a homely feel about it, situated in a great location on the Capistrano. It has a lovely terrace and garden with sea view and enjoys full sun virtually all day.The villa itself is finished to a high standard and is fully equipped with every facility you could possibly need. We found the booking process really easy and the owner was very friendly and helpful and even arranged our collection from the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was faultless, we have no hesitation in recommending Casa Sophie to others as we plan to return again soon.

“Semesterhus för avkoppling” För den som vill ha ett boende med tillgång till såväl havsutsikt, solterass hela dagen, liten egen trädgård med möjlighet till utegrillning och lagom rymligt, med alla bekvämligheter, då kan jag verkligen rekommendera detta hus med plats för 4 personer. Vi bodde på Casa Sophie i mars 2013 och tyvärr hade vi riktigt otur med vädret som var riktigt kallt och regnigt nästan hela vår vistelse (6 dgr). Men tack vare en härlig öppen spis att elda i var det så mysigt i huset. Sköna bekväma sängar dessutom. Enda smolk i bägaren är att det stundtals var lite jobbigt att ta sig upp för backen till detta hus i El Capistrano. (Man bör nog ha tillgång till bil). Annars ett underbart läge. Hoppas komma hit igen sen vår eller höst.
