Our pueblo is partly used for family and friends, alongside rentals, and is in excellent order, with all those extras that you expect.

The lounge / dining room is of a good size, furnished in the Andalusia style. Our terrace is ideal for those al fresco dining with views of the mountains and across Oasis.

It is an ""all rounder"" holiday as you have freedom to come & go, eat in or out at the local resturants & tapas, safe pools for children - along with pools for adult swimming. There are so many areas to read, relax & have fun alo. Anyone of any age, from tiny children, teens, young adults and older can enjoy the beauty of Oasis de Capistrano & Nerja itself.

From our terrace you step down into the gardens and swimming pool, only yards away. The swimming pool is now protected by a safety fence, pulled shut at night for the safety of young children. The pool is a secondary pool to the Oasis complex and is therefore very quiet.

Oasis has a main swimming pools and children's pool, lifeguard on duty also. Two restaurants and bars and a petanca court. For teenagers, there is an open-air pool table near the main bar.

Nearby, there is the Nerja Tennis Club and, of course the famous Burriana Beach, a ten minutes walk via a path, or alternatively minutes away by car. There is a wifi restaurant & bar 5 mins walk away which does happy hour 5.00pm – 7.00pm. Also across the road from this hotel is a supermarket with lots on offer, inc. lovely fresh baked bread every day. Within the gardens there is a mountain stream and fish pools. The gardens are full of palms, exotic plants and glorious blooms of roses all tended lovingly by our team of full time gardeners.

Local activities include swimming, tennis, walking, the famous Caves of Nerja, restaurants galore, golf, sub-aqua, sailing, the beach, the lovely attractions of Nerja, and much much more.

The urbanization has steps all around, but wheelchair users have stayed at our home as the 2 steps are reasonable to manage.

The path to our property is smooth and easy for wheelchairs, there are 2 steps up to our home.

We can arrange for cot, highchair or extra anything you request !

We have a patio set outside, with sun-loungers and lovely cushions for lazy days round the pool. We also have a great agent so that any problems or extra request can be dealt with efficiantly and quickly.

The agent uses "mercadona" a supermarket in town and if you wish to do a shop before you arrive they will arrange this for you,( we have and it is great!)

There are lots of local supermarkets and the food choices are fab, along with wines and beers. There is a supersol along the road , which we walk to each day for fresh baked crusty bread - YUM YUM....

There are so many things you can do from nerja, or just chill out at the lovely local burrian beach or by the pool.

I have a visitors book so if you leave us comments they are always read and acted on, within reason !

We do special rates for winter & do not charge extra for half term and easter hols.....

We do not have a built in bbq. but you can buy the disposable one's locally and have one on the beach or patio.

Owners Conditions & Reservation For Tanger 3

1. The rental agreement is made between the owners of Tanger 3, Oasis de Capistrano, Nerja and the principal of the party renting the villa, whose name in full, address and signature will appear upon the reservation form.

2. The rental will only be confirmed once the deposit has been accepted and cleared through the owners' bank account. We reserve the right to change the rental prices at any time, but these will be set once the deposit is paid.

3.3. The price of your stay includes water, electricity, cleaning before & after arrival, fresh bedding & towels. If you wish any extra laundry, cot, put you up bed, highchair or any other hire item during your stay, this is an additional cost, please let me know & it can then be arranged with Steven & Ruth, payment should then be made directly to Steven & Ruth. We ask guests not to arrive before 4.00 p.m. on the first day and to vacate by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. This allows us to ensure that the property is properly cleaned for all guests. If you do book a flight early or late on the day of arrival / departure, I need to be aware, so that I can let Steven & Ruth know. Then, once packed, you are more than welcome to stay in the garden and use pool, toilets & garden showers & facilities, or go into town/beach for a drink & food, leaving your packed cases outside on the patio, thus allowing for the cleaners etc. Many people do this and it works well. The same applies for early arrivals to Tanger 3. It is not a problem as long as we are aware.

4. The holiday deposit is 25% of the entire rental premium. The final balance is payable six weeks before departure.

5. We do not offer refunds. Once the deposit has been paid it is not refundable and likewise once the final balance is paid, again it is not refundable. However, we strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance and cancellations may be reclaimable against holiday insurance. In the event of a cancellation through illness or other unforeseen matter, we will provide any documentation required to assist your claim as may be needed. In the event of a cancellation we ask that you immediately contact us and we will assist you in any re-claim procedure. We have done so with other cancelled holidays and they have had insurance refunds.

6. Tanger 3 is fitted with external grills to all windows as well as separate external grill gates to the main entrance doors. We strongly advise that these are fully secured when you are away from the property. The owners do not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury, however caused, during your period of stay.

7. A refundable deposit of £100.00 to be paid with holiday deposit or balance which will be returned immediately upon your return, assuming no ruined linens, missing items of any sort, damaged household items or damage to property.

The Andalucia region

Weather

Nerja, a coastal town on the Costa del Sol, lies at the foot of the Sierra de Almijara mountain range and, protected by the mountains, the area has a more temperate climate than many other parts of the Costa del Sol.

The mountains serve as a great barrier to many of the weather fronts and often keep out many of the storms which affect other, sometimes nearby, areas. In effect, Nerja has its own microclimate and this can make weather forecasting very difficult.

Local Walks - Nerja is well known as a walking area. The local tourist office, adjacent to the Balcon de Europa has a selection of recommended walks. A beautiful walk is the one from our apartment right into Nerja town arriving at the Balcon de Europa. Walk to the beach as described above and then as far as you can to the steps at the far west end. Go up the steps and follow the “Paseo de los Carabineros” This is a beautiful walk along a hard paved path through the natural rock landscape at the base of the cliffs. Beautiful views but be warned that the steps go up and down as you cross the lower rock landscape. The path arrives at the base of the Balcon de Europa The walk from the beach to the Balcon takes about 20 minutes at strolling pace.

Supermarket -There is a local supermarket approximately five minute walk away. Go out of the complex to the road and take the footpath towards Nerja, following for a distance of approximately 400 yards. The supermarket offers good local produce and most provisions, daily papers etc.

Nerja

If traveling by car or taxi from Malaga Airport the road directions are – Follow signs from airport toward Malaga Centre – no more than a half mile – you will then see a sign for the E15/N340, take it aiming for Almeria – this will take you on to the auto route, following at all times the name Almeria.

Traffic will be quite heavy at first but will soon ease as you clear the Malaga area. The autoroute will take you all the way to Nerja. Nerja distance in time is about 45 minutes. As you arrive you will see the first turn off to Nerja. Do not take it but carry on through the Capistrano tunnel. Take the turn off at the 295 km signpost marked “Cueva de Nerja – Nerja – Maro”. Follow the signs to Nerja round two roundabouts. As you come to the Nerja Town boundary sign (only a total of about a mile from the Autoroute) bear right around the traffic island and left across the road into Oasis de Capistrano.

To find Tanger 3

Entering into Oasis de Capistrano keep to the right hand road for a distance of no more than 100 metres. You will see a footpath leading off to the right, adjacent to a cat feeding station. Stop there, that is your footpath. It’s level access all the way to our terrace. Follow the footpath for about 75 metres. On the left you will see a ramp leading up to our swimming pool. Up the ramp, bear left and Tanger 3 is at the left end of the swimming pool.

"Home from home with sunshine"

Just spent 2 weeks at Tanger 3, which was a fantastic Spanish Pueblo.It was spacious,spotless and set in beautiful gardens, next to the pool.The accommodation had everything you would need for a relaxing holiday and we spent our days lounging by the pool and our evenings sampling tapas in Nerja. Quality and choice of food in Neja was excellent and reasonably priced - but the tapas was an absolute bargain! We would recommend following the tapas runs listed on "Nerja today" for a true taste of Spain! We visited Granada, an hour away by coach - the Alhambra is a "must see". Definitely a holiday that we will revisit!

"Amazing beautiful place - don't miss this one""

I have stayed here a few times now, with my partner on our own, with another couple and with girlfriends, all of which have been amazing holidays. Plenty to do in the surrounding area however lovely to just sit by the pool and relax. Beautiful surroundings, apartment big and everything you need, kept very clean and furnished well. Could not recommend highly enough.

"A slice of paradise"

the south facing apartment, with the quiet pool just a 10 feet away from the patio was a delight giving space for 2 young kids to play and parents to chill. A short drive away from the centre of beautiful Nerja and its beaches, the flat felt like it had sole use of the pool at times, as the overall complex was very quiet. Nerja retains a 'Spainish' feel unlike much of the Costa, and so offers a great place to enjoy the delights of southern Spain.
