Enjoy the morning sun while you have a leisurely breakfast on the balcony which has magnificent views up to the lovely Almijara mountains that form the impressive backdrop to Nerja. Then, perhaps, drop down onto the small quiet beach and cove just below the apartment and soak up the sun or take a swim. And when you’re feeling a little peckish it’s only a short stroll along to the larger Burriana beach, Nerja’s best known beach. Here you’ll find a very wide choice of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Nerja has its own micro climate which gives on average 300 days of sunshine per year. Even in 'winter' the climate is mild and can be like Spring/early Summer in the UK. Nerja is a small spanish town which stills retains a small fishing village atmosphere. A visit to the spectacular Caves of Nerja is a must. These cathedral sized caves have magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations and concerts are held here throughout the year. Also the historic moorish 'pueblo blanco' village of Frigiliana is only about 3 miles away. Explore the narrow alleyways and try the local wine. But be careful, it may be cheap but its not weak.
Nerja / Central Nerja near Parador and Beaches area
The Parador area of Nerja is the older and quieter part of Nerja and is close to the well known Burriana beach. It's also only a short walk along picturesque Carebeo street to the centre of town and the world famous Balcon de Europa. The annual faria (fair) is held closeby in October. Other festivals take place throughout the year.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga. Nerja is an easy 45 minute drive along a quiet autovia. Cheap flights are usually available from most UK airports. Taxis can be arranged from/to the airport for no more than 64 euros each way. There is an efficent bus service available from the airport to Nerja. Takes about an hour.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, juicer and sandwich maker. The bedroom with its double bed enjoys delightful mountain views and the morning sun.
