These apartments are very comfortably furnished to a high standard with terraces overlooking wonderful views of the sea and mountains. They stand just across a small road from the beach where there are several little restaurants. The town centre of Nerja is approximately 10 minutes walk . The apartments have two bedrooms (some with en suite )and separate bathroom, plus lounge/dining room with Sat TV, kitchen with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. The apartments also have an iron and hairdryer.
We have many other Burriana beach apartments and all are situated in a prime location, right on the Playa Burriana. They are ideal for anyone who wishes to enjoy the sea, sand and sports.. Some have air conditioning. In addition there are two luxurious penthouses both of which have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All tastefully furnished with the addition of a dishwasher in the kitchen. We have a large selection of apartments on the beach, please call for more availability.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, it's miles of beautiful sandy beaches and fantastic weather which have kept tourists flocking back year after year to resorts like Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella. The Costa del Sol caters for young and old alike, offering a host of entertainment choices for the native and visitor alike.
The coast boasts one of the highest concentrations of world class golf courses, to the extent that it is often dubbed "The Costa del Golf". For families there are theme parks, including water parks, go-karting, safari parks and many beautiful public gardens. For younger visitors the main areas of attraction are Benalmadena's Puerto Marina & '24 hour square' and Marbella's Puerto Banus. Both are very trendy and chic, but be warned the bars and clubs don't get busy until near midnight and stay open till dawn.
The area's history dates back to the Phoenicians and has since been inhabited by Greeks, Romans and Moors, all of whom have left their mark on the areas architecture and culture. Perhaps less well known is the areas culture, often in the shadow of its neighbour Seville, The Costa and the Malaga province are home to some of the finest Flamenco shows, bull fighting & tapas restaurants
The Nerja / Burriana Beach area
Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000.
Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.
Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing...
However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains.
There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town.
The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach.
However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.

| Airport: | Malaga: 60 km |
Malaga Airport is 6km from Malaga City and 50km (45 minutes mainly down the motorway journey by car) and a very straightforward journey to Nerja. On leaving the airport keep in the right hand lane and take the E340 towards Motril, which will bring you to the Nerja exit, from there we will supply easy directions to find the accommodation. .
There are frequent flights to Malaga, by scheduled and many budget airlines from all over the UK and Nerja is only 2 hours from the Sierra Nevada Europe's most southerly ski resort and a couple of hours drive to Granada.
A car will certainly enhance your visit as there is so much to see and do, but it is not actually essential to enjoy Nerja and there are plenty of local companies who can organise trips to Grenada or Gibraltar which is about 2 and a half hours drive away.
If you don’t want to hire a car (we use www.marbesol.com) we can arrange a transfer from the airport (taxi charge is 70 euros for up to 4 people each way and minibus charge is 110 euros for 5 – 12 people each way. NB Unsocial hours –taxi 75 Euros, Minibus 150 Euros).

we were delighted with the apartment as we stayed in Nerja last year and the apartment was at the top of nearly 200 steps, which really put us off going out. This apartment was in a great location right beside the beach (no steps) but it was quiet, the air conditioning was a bonus but necessary as the nights were so hot. It was very clean and well maintained, and a small problem with the bathroom lock was dealt with promptly. We will certainly recommend it! |
