Casa Marcella is a typical Spanish Townhouse situated in a quiet, gated cul-de-sac near to the Parador. It has a secluded private Patio garden and a large first floor terrace just off the master bedroom, ideal for tea or coffee in the morning !!. It is an easy 5 Minute stroll to Burriana beach and less than that to the more secluded Carabeo beach. Within 2 minutes you are in the old town with its abundance of Tapas bars and restaurants, and a short walk of no more than 5 minutes to the Balcon de Europa and its attractions. For Golf lovers it is a 15 minute drive to the new Baviera golf course.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa Del Sol has a sunny warm climate, and winters are generally pleasant and sunny. It is an ideal base for visiting the many beautiful and cultural cities of Andalucia, all within 1-2 hours drive - Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga ... even Gibraltar. Day trips to Morocco are easily arranged.
Nerja / Central Nerja near Parador and Beaches area
Nerja is one of the few areas of the Costa Del Sol which has retained its charm and although busy and bustling with tourists it is a vibrant yet pretty and unspoilt Spanish Town. The coastline is particularly breathtaking and the mountains in the distance make a spectacular backdrop. Nerja has several fine beaches set in charming coves beneath cliffs and one of the best climates in Europe. It is a great base for exploring the region and enjoying its unique food and drink. Nerja in particular has many fine Tapas bars and Restaurants.
The neighbouring village of Frigliana was voted the prettiest village in Spain. One hour north brings you to Granada and the highest European ski resort of Sierra Nevada. Several excellent Golf Courses are within 15-30 minutes drive.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga airport then take a hire car, bus or taxi to Nerja. Many car hire companies operate from Malaga airport. Please contact us we can help with cheap car hire. We can send you a road map and directions if you are coming from Malaga or Granada airports. From Malaga airport approx 45 minutes - From Granada Airport approx 1 hour 30 minutes. We can arrange a Taxi pick-up or Car Hire from Malaga airport or send you details of how to come by Bus. A Taxi from Malaga airport will cost you approx 65 Euros each way - The bus 8 euros. Casa Marcella is 5 minutes walk to the Bus Station or Taxi Rank.

A 150 Euro or £100 Damage/Breakage deposit is payable when the balance of payment is paid. This will be refunded within 10 days of departure once keys have been returned and the house checked by our Managing Agent in Nerja.

The house is so well equipped you have thought of everything. ( Tony particularly appreciated the beach umbrella ! ) The bed was so comfy, as were the settees. The house was immaculately clean and everything was of the highest quality. ( I loved your tapestries ) The area ,we think , is probably the nicest in Nerja , very convenient for everything. We had a fabulous time and absolutely loved Casa Marcella! Casa Marcella is in a great location, and we found it to be spotlessly clean & fitted out to the highest quality.
