The SMĖLYNAS apartment complex, situated in the quiet fishing village of Preila, opened its doors to holidaymakers in June 2015. This completely renovated and newly furnished guest house satisfies the most sophisticated expectations. When you step over the threshold of SMĖLYNAS, you dive into a cosy oasis of elegance. Panoramic views of the Curonian Lagoon open out from the windows and balconies of the apartments and surround you with the blissful freshness and tranquillity of Neringa. All your worries and problems will be gone when you walk barefoot in the golden sand of the Baltic Sea dunes…

The guest house is situated in the very centre of Preila, in the same place as the former Kurhaus – right next to the lagoon and spacious park. The Baltic Sea is just 5 minutes away by bicycle or 15 minutes by foot along the path leading through the pine forest. There is an excellent infrastructure for cycling and reliable bus transport to other towns of Neringa.

The SMĖLYNAS apartment complex is an ideal place for escaping from the rush of the big city and enjoying romantic moments together. A cup of coffee in a spacious balcony at sunrise, or a glass of wine at sunset will help you rediscover the path to your loved one’s heart.

The guest house also welcomes families with children. The apartments are fully adapted to all the needs of little ones: on request, the hosts will provide baby beds and high chairs, and mothers will find anything they may need to prepare a family dinner in our perfectly equipped kitchens.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
