The Valais region

In the winter season, the skiing area of the four valleys encompasses Verbier, Nendaz, Siviez, La Tsoumaz and Thyon-Les Collons. Nendaz has some fantastic runs for all levels and enjoys easy access to Verbier (the adjacent valley) and the Mont Fort glacier. Enjoy everything the area has to offer with over 412 kilometres of prepared ski runs, 92 lifts and top rated snow parks.

As well as being a skier's paradise during the winter months, the mountains are incredibly beautiful in the other seasons and there is plenty to do. Activities such as mountain-biking, hiking, rafting, paragliding, horse riding, golf (including the famous course at Crans Montana) and many others are available. The weather throughout June to late September is typically hot and sunny, and you can enjoy sunbathing in the big lawned garden, BBQs and lazy evenings on the large balconies.

Situated at 1,400 metres, Nendaz is a gem of a resort. Large enough to provide a full choice of restaurants, après-ski opportunities, shops and sports facilities, it still maintains the charm of a small, family-friendly resort. It has the luxury of snow for over 20 weeks a year and has a cable car to take you straight up above 2000m.

In the summer Nendaz enjoys a warm Mediterranean alpine climate – in fact Valais is known as Switzerland’s sunniest region and after the snow has gone the pistes cater for walkers, mountain bikers and offer diverse wildlife and plant life. The village is bustling throughout the year. There are a host of facilities including an open air swimming pool with wonderful views, a climbing tower, tennis and gym.

Children are very well catered for during the ski season with a dedicated kids snow park at the top of the Nendaz ski lift, as well as special events through the year including sledging, visits from Santa, treasure and Easter egg hunts.

"A weekend with frieds outside the home"

It was a perfect relaxing weekend outside home! The chalet is perfectly organized for the big group of people and very friendly for children (we were very much positively surprised about children chairs). We had really good relaxing weekend - using the hot tube outside (if it is not foggy the shining night sky must be impressive), sauna inside. There are very nice walking paths around with the beautiful panorama. The living room is also very nice, big enough for many people, at the same time one space to be involved for all - the ones cooking or just chilling near the fireplace. The owners are not at the place, however the sincere care was always felt in communication. We really had a good time!

"Marvelous quiet chalet just off Nendaz with wonderful view"

Chalet Chambord is located 5 km from Haute Nendaz; the village is not really quaint and we loved being outside of the village, in a stunning location surrounded by snow and trees. The house is easily … More

"Stunning, modern chalet in Nendaz"

We stayed at Chalet Chambord with six friends in March this year and we could not have picked a more perfect place for chilling out after skiing. The chalet is newly built to a really stylish, modern look and it feels quite luxe but homey at the same time.

The upstairs lounge/dining/kitchen area is large and open-plan, with floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views - an amazing backdrop to your breakfast time! The space is perfect for getting together to cook a big meal which we did many times.

The chalet is in a very quiet location with beautiful views. The best part had to be the hot tub outside with mountain views. That part was possibly better than the skiing itself!

Overall, we had an amazing time and the chalet exceeded all of our expectations - we can't wait to go again!

We had a fantastic stay at chalet chombard in March.
The chalet itself is laid out perfectly with a great lounge dining open plan area with the most breathtaking views across the valley. It was a pleasure to return after a days skiing to this setting to either sit on the balcony or in the hot tub and just take in the views.
The open plan kitchen really works when your there with a crowd, making cooking prep a social event!
The sleeping accommodation with en suites in most rooms was of a really high standard.

The location for the four valleys is perfect with all types of slopes available, we were a very mixed group in terms of skiing aptitudes and we were all catered for.

"A beautiful chalet for winter or summer"

This was our second stay (previously in the winter) and it didn't fail to disappoint again! A beautiful chalet in a beautiful peaceful setting. I would highly recommend a stay in either winter or summer.
