Guestbook for Chalet Enchanteur
D. Wilkinson- NEW YEAR 2009 "My party of 10, made up of two families, including 6 in their early/mid twenties, have just returned from this newly built luxurious chalet. It was everything we hoped it would be and was entirely accurate in its descriptions of the accommodation and facilities available. The views from most of the windows, as well as the hot tub, are stunning across the valley to Sion and up towards Crans Montana. The Food was simply superb and the Chef Sam and chalet host Toby go out of their way to accommodate guest requests whenever they can. They even joined in on some days skiing with us and socialising in the Cactus bar, the best apres ski bar in Haute Nendaz, which is only a 3 minute walk away downhill. They organised in chalet massage and made a special effort to celebrate a birthday for one of our party, as well as making new years eve a truly memorable evening. The ski lift in the village is a 10 minute walk away with ski boots on but the chalet hosts dropped us off and picked us up each day so that we didn't have to struggle with all the ski gear which is a little more difficult going back up the hill to the chalet. ( a small price to pay for the fantastic views). We only ate out one evening on the staff night off and couldn't recommend the restaurant we chose, it wasn't a patch on the food we had become used to in the chalet. As its new, the owner and hosts will in time build up a picture of restaurants to recomend. The snow conditions across the 4 vallees were excellent, they've had snow there since October so its a long season, and the skiing across towards Verbier was particularly good as it benefits from the sun all day and has lots of varied runs. The village is lovely with lots going on and it will suit all age groups as well as non skiers with little cafe's, bars and restaurants. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and went out of her way, as did the staff, to ensure we had a fantastic holiday which we duly did.I will definitely return and would recommend this property to anyone."
Luxury 1066skiers Rye, East Sussex, UK Review Submitted: May 18, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009 Chalet Enchanteur was very clean, luxurious and the views were breathtaking.
Our party consisted of two families with children of 5,6,7 & 17 years old. The chalet was great for all age groups with plenty to keep the children occupied (between the wii, playstation and a display case packed full of dvds), whilst the adults enjoyed the sauna and the outside hot tub with it's incredible view.
Our daily schedule started with a plentiful breakfast of your choice. We were then driven the 3 minute journey, in the minibus, to the bottom of the main Nendaz ski lift. After our day skiing, we were then picked up and taken back to the chalet for freshly baked cake and hot chocolate. We would then relax in the hot tub before pre-dinner drinks and a fantastic 3-course gourmet meal.
The chalet was beautifully furnished but the finishing touches were Sam & Andrew. They made our weeks stay a real holiday. Sam cooked us the most delicious meals everyday and Andrew was the perfect host.
Chalet Enchanteur experience AlJaz Italy Review Submitted: February 10, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009 The description on the website is very close to the real thing. The people at the chalet are very nice and will make your stay a charm. Reaching the chalet if the lane is covered by snow could be tricky but the personnel will be eager to help you out.
I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking forward to relax, enjoy a wonderful Swiss Alps panorama and do open-air sports.
