The apartment is light and bright and tastefully decorated and furnished. Located in a quiet position on the Haute Nendaz sunny plateau high above the Rhone Valley, the views are spectacular from each balcony. The local shops and many great restaurants are just a few minutes walk away, as is the Telecabine. Set in the heart of the 4-Valleys ski area, Haute Nendaz is ski-linked to Verbier. Our guests may use our two 4-person ski lockers at the Telecabine, and receive a 10% discount at one of the central ski hire sports shops.
There are luxurious beds in each bedroom, and 8 adults and 2 children can sleep comfortably - no bunks or sofa beds. The kitchen has everything for comfortable self-catering from garlic press to fondue set. There are 2 Bloom Nano highchairs (6 months - 3 years old), a Bloom cot, more than 200 DVDs, dozens of books, games, an iPod docking station and a Wii.
All guests have luxury cotton towels, bathrobes, organic soap and slippers, and each bedroom has a balcony with wonderful views of the area, overlooked only by the mountains.
The use of 8 sets of Tubbs Wilderness Show Shoe kits (shoes, poles, backpacks) is provided for our guests - 4 sets for gents, and 4 sets for ladies/children which fit over walking shoes/boots. There is a lovely 6km trail which starts close to Le Cret, runs across fields, through woods, and around the radio antenna. All maps are available in our Info Pack. Great fun and easy to learn.

Le Cret is a privately owned chalet comprising only 12 apartments, with a lift and one allocated private parking space.
The apartment is large at 120m2, with another 40m2 of sunny balconies accessed from each room.
The concierge cleans the common parts regularly, including the basement laundry room which has a large washing machine, drier and clothes lines. The paths and steps are cleared of snow during the winter.
There is bench and table seating in the garden which overlooks the Sion valley - lovely in the summer.
The main Telecabine which links Haute Nendaz to the 400km of pistes in the 4 Valleys area is just across up from Le Cret, and the free ski bus runs every 20 minutes in winter round the town.
The resort is the perfect base for skiing/snow-shoeing, or walking the 100km of glorious Bisse (ancient waterways linking the mountain villages) during the summer.

The balconies are large and furnished with comfy rocking chairs - perfect for coffee or after dinner drinks in the summer.
There is a communal garden which has bench seating during the summer, and the large parking area is reserved for the Le Cret chalet. Each apartment has an allocated parking space.
Bikes may be securely stored in the chalet basement, and there is an exterior cold water pressure hose to clean them.
The concierge cleans and maintains the chalet, and clears any snow from the paths and steps daily.
As the local supermarkets close around 6pm, a Welcome Pack of fresh bread, butter, milk, eggs and a bottle of wine will keep you going until morning.
This apartment is a duplex penthouse with many balconies - active toddlers may require supervision.
The key will be handed over and collected by our local person.
Please let us know how you'd like the beds arranged before you arrive as 2 of the bedrooms can be set up as twins, or as double beds.
Arrival time after 4pm and departure time 10am latest on changeover day please - to ensure there is sufficient time to clean/prepare the apartment.
Rental price is FULLY inclusive: heating, linen, cleaning, logs, tourist taxes, bathrobes, towels, slippers, snow-shoe kits, use of two 4-person ski lockers at the Telecabine, and a welcome pack.
The Swiss Alps region
Haute Nendaz is situated on a sunny plateau at 1500m in the heart of the 4 Valleys ski area - 400km of pistes and linked to Verbier, Siviez, Veysonnaz, and La Tzoumaz by ski, walking paths and mountain roads.
The area is chocolate-box beautiful and in the summer months the town is thronging with walkers and bike riders who use it as their base. Perfect for families who enjoy walking, skiing, horse-riding, mountain biking, paragliding, ice skating, swimming in the heated open-air pool - or just relaxing in the wonderful mountain air.
Historic Sion is 12km away down in the Rhone Valley, with a hill-top museum and castle well worth a visit, as is the Old Town there.
Haute Nendaz is a thriving mountain resort lift-linked to Verbier. During the winter it is clearly dedicated to winter sports such as skiing, boarding, tobogganing, snowshoeing and cross-country trails.
In the summer it is transformed, with regular festivals and weekly street markets selling freshly baked bread, organic soaps, pretty woven bags, jewellery, locally grown produce and wines. There is usually a spit-roast on the go.
There is a music festival held every year in August - the sound of Alpenhorn competing with brass bands and handbells has to be heard to be believed! There is also a beer festival during the summer. Local traditions are upheld with an Alpenhorn contest and other events.
