Silvermines is an award winning rural village, set at the foot of the Silvermines mountains. The apartment is set on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a balcony and amazing views. There are two spacious double bedrooms, queen size beds that can be separated to form single 3ft beds, both with en suite shower rooms and underfloor heating. The living room has 3 very comfy sofas, a 42" smart TV, docking station, a log burner and dining area for 6 . The kitchen has all the appliances you need and a granite worktop. There is full central heating throughout and all service water is supplied via a rainwater harvesting system. There is a courtyard with garden furniture for your sole use. There is a landscaped garden, with beautiful flora to attract wildlife, also there are fruit trees and an organic vegetable patch, from which you can pick your vegetables and fruit for a complimentary meal.

For laundry, there is a boot room containing washing machines, tumble dryers, heated drying racks, a sink, a hosing down area, and a long bench for changing out of your gear after a days adventure.

The accommodation has been awarded 4 stars by Failte Ireland, and is luxurious. It offers all that is required for an active holiday. Close by there are many loop walks, biking trails, horse riding ,golf, swimming baths with a skate park, and a play area. Lough Derg, which is a 20 minute drive away, has some of the best fishing in Ireland, sailing, water skiing and all other water sports. Silvermines is a quiet and sleepy village, wrapped in a mountain back drop, and is also perfect for getting away from it all. You can relax in front of the log burner, read, paint or stroll along the river. There is a village pub and shop for groceries on your door step, yet Nenagh market town is only a 10 minute drive for all the pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets and boutiques,there is a farmers market. and country market for all your home made preserves and artisan breads , a Norman castle,genealogy and heritage center.

A cleaning service and a local chef are available for you to book if you require.

The Limerick/Tipperary region

Tipperary has many way marked looped walking and cycling trails, have a look at www.irishtrails.ie .

Only 30 minutes drive there is the best mountain bike forest in Ireland in the ballyhoura mountains,check out utube video.

The equestrian center is 10 minutes drive and holds up to 25 horses for beginers ,trecks ,beach rides,jumping.

Lough derg is beautiful and has the best fishing, gillies are available to show you the best fishing spots,also sailing,water skiing and great water side bars and restaurants.

Nenagh Golf course is 15 minutes drive also a pitch a putt is near by.

Killaloe sandy beach has a fabulous dive center. The diving is amazing!

Nenagh

The award winning Silvermines is a quiet rural village, peaceful and quiet. Along side the mountain river there is a nature trail and picnic area with so many different birds and wildlife, even bats!. There are wild horses,deer and goats which you might encounter whist walking or cycling in the silvermines mountain trails. There are old preserved stone Cornish engine pumping houses left over from the days of mining which you can explore.

The village has a pub , grocery shop and taxi service.

Only 10 minutes drive from the Silvermines is the market town of Nenagh where you can find many pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets. There is a farmers and country market on Friday and Saturday where you can get home made preserves and artisan breads.

There is a Preserved Norman castle dating from the 11th century also a heritage and genealogy center to help find your ancestors.

"I wish my own home was this nice!"
