Corru Gate is stylish and different. City chic meets country style in this architecturally designed, children-friendly 3 bedroomed contemporary lifestyle cottage. With excellent passive solar design and recycled materials it embodies a distinctively creative Kiwi flavour - iconic corrugated iron, quality furniture and local/NZ art. French doors open onto a sun-drenched deck and private designer garden.

Wander over our paddocks, admiring the magnificent Tasman Bay views while the kids enjoy the playground and treehut. 4 minutes to great beaches and rivers. We are passionate about conservation and sustainability (Roger was a sustainability advisor) and relish the birdlife and native trees of this slice of paradise.

Set in cycling heaven amongst quiet country roads winding through olive groves and vineyards, there is ample room for cycles – use our electric or standard bikes plus trailer. Tour maps available for exploring from the farm gate

The South Island region

Nelson is renowned for its wine, art, beaches, 3 national parks and stunning scenery. Why else did we move here 23 years ago from the North Island? Our weekends are a dilemma of whether to tramp (=hiking), cafe, beach, experience movies/theatre, cycle the Great Taste Trail routes - or all the other options.

Mapua seaside village is away from Nelson city (yay!) yet is an easy 25 min drive (or cycle there on the Great Taste Trail). Mapua is the art, beach, music, cafe and wine centre of the region and is nestled in stunning, quiet countryside. We have cycle tour routes to explore the nearby artisans, wineries, beaches and countryside.
