Set in its own garden and perched on the western tip of the largest Caribbean islands our holiday home in Jamaica offers spacious accommodation with modern kitchen and bath/shower room with hot & cold water coupled with a large master bedroom in traditional island board-house style complete with veranda overlooking the garden. Pick you own bananas, mangos, poinsetta and aloe vera. Have barbeques and watch the night sky light up in this tropical paradise. No frills 2 bedroom accommodation near hotels, pools, beach and night life. Lots of activities for thoes who want such as watersports, horse riding, golf and lots more

Negril is THE main beach resort in Jamaica situated in the Parish of Westmoreland. Famous for the busy all-inclusive resorts on the beach. Staying in the West End will give you a real Jamaican experience offering you the very best of both worlds, the dramatic cliff-side an rustic boutique inns and bars and the beach with fine dining and tourist party atmosphere. The Negril 18 hole Golf Course is less than 10 minutes drive away
Negril area
Negril has a historic French engineered light house which you climb and view the tropical scenery of the west coast of Jamaica. There's also the Palm Reserve with a huge selection of palm trees. Activities on the beach consist of the all the usual water sports plus scuba diving cliff-side and you can swim with dolphins or go horse riding on the beach. Sorry no Cool Runnings bob sleigh activities here but you can see a Cool Runnings bobsleigh at Chances bar on the beach. Mayfield Falls YS Falls/Appleton Rum Factory Kingston and Bob Marley Museum - Kingston is the spirited capital of Jamaica and its cultural and commercial centre. Nearby Port Royal is well worth a visit. 2 centre – Portland and Blue Mountains including The Blue Lagoon (location of the famous film staring Brooke Shields) Blue Mountains: Here you leave the seduction of the turquoise shores, climb up to where the air is keener. The Blue Mountains rise almost as steeply as stage curtains behind the city of Kingston. In just a short drive the humdrum and hustle of the capital evaporates. The Blue Mountains are one of the most relaxing and charming places in the Caribbean where everything is ‘chriss’ Cockpit country is perfect for experienced hikers. How to get there
There is a great choice of airlines such as My Travel, Airtours, Air Jamaica, Virgin, KLM and others who fly to Jamaica. You can fly direct from a selection of daily flights from Heathrow, Manchester, Miami, Schipol and many European Capitals and US and Canadian airports. Book flights on line of with your travel consultant. The nearest airport is Montego Bay and we can arrange airport pick up from Mo Bay and Kingston. There is a small airport in Negril too but most guests land in Montego Bay. You may wish to hire a car at the airport or alternatively hire a car from Banmark which is in Summerset Road, Negril just down the street from the cottage. Jeep and bike hire also available or just hire our Cottage Manager/Driver for any part or all of your stay for door step service and memorable island tours.

Further details indoors: Boutique air-conditioned accommodation situated in a small neighbourhood in West End, Negril. Fully tiled property with high ceilings and a bright aspect. The master bedroom also has traditional louvered windows to catch the tropical breezes. Dishes, pots and pans provided. Towels provided. Bi-weekly linen and cleaning services included. Additional facilities available upon request i.e. grocery shopping, breakfast, dinner, barbeque incl lobster feasts (in season). The house is just a stone's throw from Summerset Road which has 2 hotels with pool facilities, (visitors welcome), guest houses, cambio, car/bike hire, minimarket, bars, craft stalls. The banks are just 5 minutes drive. Bicycles available for hire, Snorkels for hire. Dive centres and courses available - ask the owner to make the advance booking for you. Popular with North Americans between November and March and year round German, Italian and British tourists ranging from those taking a Winter Sun break to guests getting away from the Mediterranean crowds in Italy in August for Fer Augusto to enjoy the lush tropics that this large and wonderful English speaking island has to offer.
Further details outdoors: The house is situated in its own gated garden in a small neighbourhood consisting of a handful of homes. There is a free bus shuttle to the beach from Summerset Road laid on by Margaritaville resort. Taxi stand also in Summerset Road or hire your own driver or book your pick ups in advance with the Cottage Manager who will be at your service during your stay.

Payment and Guarantee policy: Rate of USD to £1 is approx 2.00 (July 07) Use prevaling exchange rate at the time of booking.
Upon receipt of a 50% deposit your holiday is reserved and a receipt will be sent to you. The balance is required 30 days prior to your arrival.
Cancellation Policy Should you cancel the reservation prior to 60 days before arrival full refund of your deposit less £60 administration fee. Cancellation of less than 60 days before arrival a full refund will only be made if the property is rented to another party less £60 administration fee.
Security deposit ** A security deposit of £60 per adult is payable locally to the Cottage Manager upon arrival and is fully refundable should the occupants not incur any costs arising from breakages, loss or damage. The party leader, who places the deposit agrees to accept full responsibility for any breakages. It is always easier to buy and replace any items and report them to the Manager rather than sorting matters out on your departure date. Check out time is 12 noon. Luggage may be stored by arrangement

We keep our prices as low as we can as we wish to make our holiday home available to those paying for long haul flights. However if you opt to pay using PayPal/credit card transactions we need to have the fee covered. Our preferred payment method is bank transfer, cheque or PayPal.
The maximum number of adults allowed is 4, please add £25 for any additional children. Total occupancy being 4 adults and 2 children.
