Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Hendafarn is a lovely beachside cottage in the picturesque village of Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales..
Originally a fishermans cottage and once a beachside tavern Hendafarn is over 300 years sold. The cottage is situated directly on Nefyn beach sheltered beneath the western headland. Whilst vehicle access is possible at only certain states of the tide, it offers the perfect getaway whilst in reach of local amenities. Ideal for those wishing to explore the magnificent cliff walks of the Llyn Peninsular now maintained by the National Trust. For golfers there is a championship course at Morfa Nefyn only two miles from Nefyn. For sailors and windsurfers the bay offers good sailing conditions and during August there is a small friendly sailing club where visitors are always welcome. For children there are rock pools and lovely golden sands to play on.
Although the cottage sleeps six people, one bedroom is a bunkroom suitable for children.
It is recommended that occupancy of 4 adults and two children would be comfortable,

Steve and Lynne thank you very much for your review. It is always a relief when guests enjoy their holiday. Hendafarn is unique and doesn't always suit everyone but when it does it's a real pleasure. Hopefully you will remember it as a happy holiday and return.

"The worst holiday cottage for years."
We have to admit that the position of this small fishamans cottage was lovely, right on the beach and I can imagine for people with children it would be ideal to just open the door and let them play w… More
The guests arrived on Saturday and left on Monday without saying goodbye or telling me of their displeasure with the cottage. I was therefore unable to discuss a refund with them, but subsequently sent an email saying a cheque would be in the post. I find their comments unfair. A previous review was brilliant. I have been letting Hendafarn for a number of years and they are only the second people to complain. Most of my lets are to people who have been coming back to the cottage for a number of years. Hendafarn is a beautiful beachside cottage and does not deserve this criticism from people who happened to choose the wrong holiday accommodation for their needs.
