Borgo Stomennano is composed by Villa(8 persons), Tinaione (12 persons) and Volta(8persons+4 persons). The Villa is particulary well suited for couples and small groups that loves art and seek a vacation entwined with the quirky and richly detailed historical heritage of 17th century Villa Stomennano. Private italian garden and pool, marvellous sunset on Monteriggioni view, 16th century forniture, several frescoed ballrooms , 3 luxurious double bedrooms and one twin bedded room, billiard, eatinkitchen, tabletennis, BBQ.

The Tuscany region

Near Siena / Chianti - Monteriggioni area
Monteriggioni is a medieal walled village,setted on the top of a hill and sourranded by olives trees and fields. It was born to defense Siena from the florentine attacks in 1200. It was described by Dante in his Divina Commedia in the Inerno canto XXXIII. From here the most important tuscan cities are easily reachable by car, train and even by bike. In the village there are 3 very good reasturants and in between 2 km pharmacy, petrol station, train station and postal office as well as supermarket and local weekly market.

The wine cellars where we produce our delicious Chianti are open to our guests A bocci court is reachable for a picknic after a nice walk along an olives trees alley. The biliard is available for the Villa guests. A welcome hamper si given on arrival as well as a bottle of our wine with personalized lable .Activities that we can help you to organize: wine tour, cooking lessons, truffles tours, spices and saffron tours, wedding planner.

Arrival day saturday .Private swimigpool open from may to september. Children under 14 are not allowed in the Villa and in the Villa's pool,. English speaking owners. Maid service 2 hours per day included, dinner provided on request and cook service available on requests.
Conditions
A 20% deposit to be payed for booking, balance due one month before arrival. A refaundable deposit of 500 euro is due on arrival. The owners has 3 friendly dogs and a goose that thinks to be a dog too. In the borgo lives the owners and their family and they are always reachable for any troubles or informations.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The views were incredible and the location was very convenient for day trips and for getting food. We cooked several meals for 23 people in one of the kitchens and it was very well equipped for our needs. We had our wedding in the garden followed by an unbelievable meal catered by a local chef. It was definitely something that we all will remember for the rest of our lives. The location was out of this world. Gorgeous views and the property had so much history. I could not recommend a better place to spend a week or more. Also, the property owners were very accommodating and helpful Go! It is a beautiful villa with surrounding adventure. Having a base camp was easy for day traveling, but it could be a quiet retreat if that's what you want. We stayed one week and felt a few more days would have been better. A reason to go back. The villa is very safe, if older kids wanted to stay behind for the day. There is a pool, ping-pong table, or sleeping for those who need a quiet day away from family, either parents or kids. We traveled with another family of 5, 3 teenagers as well. They stayed in the main villa, so it was very easy to meet up. The family that owns the villa is very kind and would do anything to help us. I would most definitely like to go back!
