Home description
Villa Stella is an ideally located farmhouse in one of the most central and pituresque villages in Malta. It is a few minutes walk from the Naxxar village square along the beautiful St Lucy Street and close to shops, cafes and bars. The villa has its own garage and parking, leading into a private courtyard entrance with traditional features, trees and plants. Inside the house is a reception room with a bar and a 42 inch plasma screen TV, which adjoins a large open plan kitchen, breakfast and dining room with its 300 year old stone walls and wooden beams.There are 3 double bedrooms beautifully decorated, all with balconies.There is also a roof gazebo for relaxation and spa treatments. There is a large patio with outdoor dining and relaxation furniture.There is a sunbathing area with a 10ft splash pool for all the family. If you do hire a car it is a 10 minutes drive to Malta's only water park where you can unwind and relax for a whole day of water fun.

The Island of Malta region
The Islands of Malta and Gozo lie in the central Mediterranean. The total area is only 316sq.Km/122sq.m. Malta Malta has a very sunny climate with an average of 5 to 6 hours of sunshine a day in midwinter and over 12 hours a day in summer. Malta has a wonderful location and is one of the most historic and exciting Islands in the Mediterranean. The local people are helpful and very friendly. English is spoken by almost everybody, so you don't need a phrasebook.
Naxxar area
Wander through Naxxar's St Lucy Street with the biggest number of alley ways in Malta and admire centuries old houses of character. Go to nearby Mosta and visit the Mosta Dome where a bomb was dropped during the second World War and miraculously nobody was hurt in the congregation.
Take a visit to Palazzo Parisio and admire its miniature Versaille gardens. This is just at the end of the road.
Take a short trip to the prehistoric ruins of the Hypogeum, Hagar Qim and other marvels that are even older than Stonehenge.
Spend the day at Malta's only golf course. Amenities include an 18 hole golf course, 18 tennis courts, 5 squash courts, mini golf and a cricket pitch.
If you have children then a visit to the Playmobil Factory is a must.
A car is not essential in Naxxar. Just hop on the bus to the Capital City Valletta and see the sights: Museums, the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the Barraca gardens, the Auberges of the Knights of St John, the open markets, or take a horse and carriage ride around the harbour.
OR
Take the bus a short distance to St Julians and all the entertainment it has to offer. Great for the Nightlife, Bars and inexpensive drinks. Great restaurants, a huge 16 screen cinema, Bowling Alley and a lovely sandy beach called St Georges Bay.
How to get there
This luxury 300 year old farmhouse is situated in St Lucy Street, a beautiful alley in the centre of Naxxar.
Malta International Airport is only 30 minutes away by car. Low cost airlines such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Hello, XL.com and Air Malta fly regularly from most airports in Britain.
Budget Airline Vueling flies from Madrid to Malta 3 times a week; Italian airline Volare 4 times a week, and a Norwegian airline 3 times a week. Please check with your travel agent or go on line for latest information.
Local buses run regulary from Naxxar just 5 minutes walk from the Villa. They go to the capital city Valletta, and there is a quick bus ride into St Julians/Sliema where you will find all the nightlife, more restaurants and a great beach.

Further details indoors: The bedrooms have all been decorated to a high standard. The Master bedroom with a king size bed, was decorated with antique furniture by an Italian Designer, the ensuite bathroom has a large sunken bath you can enjoy. The second bedroom is a sunny room decorated with light colours and antique pine furniture, The three bedroom overlooks the courtyard with african theme furnishings.
Further details outdoors: Villa Stella is located on one of Malta's most beautiful and historic village streets. The front door opens into a private courtyard, featuring Mediterranean trees and tropical plants. It is a pleasure to sit and relax in the fresh air. A lovely feature of this house is the sunny patio with panoramic views of local farmland towards the sea in the distance. This is great for sunbathing and you can also take a dip in the 10ft splash pool to cool off. In the evening you can enjoy eating outside from the BBQ with salads from delicious local produce. Villa Stella is unique in being able to offer spa treatments either in the Gazebo or in the comfort of your own room. These include Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Hot or Cold Stone Massage, Facials, manicures/pedicure Sports Injury and Deep Tissue accupressure massage, Indian Head Massage, Acupuncture and any Back pain or post fracture treatments. You will receive a 25% gift voucher when renting this property.

Bed linen will be changed weekly. If you wish to smoke ash trays will be provided in the courtyard, on the patio or outside. The time to vacate the premises is 10.30 am. If you wish to leave your baggage at the Villa because you are catching a later flight on your day of departure, that wouldn't be a problem.
