'The Red Farm' offers secure parking via a remote opening entrance gate to a Drive In with Car Port, set within the extensive private grounds of this most impressive holiday let property. Entrance to the Farmhouse is gained via the main Kitchen with Dining table having a modern fireplace, which divides the Kitchen/Dining area from a Living/Sitting room having Flat Screen TV, leading to a splendid foyer at the heart of this fascinating property, off the foyer is a grandeur dining room with log beamed ceiling, a games room, toilet and a cloakroom. From the foyer one can gain access to a large outside terrace overlooking the magnificent garden and private pool, and access to the lower level and first floor, of which the first floor comprises of a Double Bedroom with walk in wardrobe and en-suite facility, two further Double Bedrooms with shared bathroom, a Single Bedroom with en-suite facility and a Bedroom with a Bunk Bed and a Single Bed also having en-suite facility. Further to the first floor level there is a large outside terrace that looks over the Garden and Pool. The Naxxar area
'The Red Farm' is situated in Iklin, which is part of the Naxxar locality, being perfectly placed midway between St. Pauls Bay and St. Julians/Sliema.
Naxxar is a quaint, relaxed village situated in the heart of Malta, with its most imposing and substantial building being the parish Church, located in the centre of the village along side another historical and most certainly prolific building. Palazzo Perisio, which is one of Malta’s premier heritage attractions that is open to the public to experience alfresco dining at it’s finest in what has to be said one of Malta’s most beautiful gardens at ½ a mile long, here one can wander at will on meandering pathways through the orange grove, surrounded by exotic Mediterranean species. Amongst mature and unusual tropical trees, shrubs and impressive fountains, this is a must to visit and probably one that you will visit again and again as the relaxed ambience and sweet garden smells is the perfect remedy to unwind.
The famous Mosta Church is approximately a 5 minute drive away, having the 3rd largest unsupported dome in the world. On the 9th April 1942, the church was nearly destroyed during World War 2. An Axis bomb pierced the dome of the church but, failed to explode. The detonator was removed and a replica bomb is now displayed as a memorial. This Church is visited daily by tourist and for sure it would be disappointing not to go and see the Mosta Dome, whilst in Malta.
