The villa was originally built in the classical north-eastern tradition using high quality materials such as marble and mahogany and has just been refurbished. All rooms are generously proportioned and a large terrace running around the side of the house is the perfect place to relax in the evenings.
The villa is located just 5 minutes walk away from the beautiful sandy beach in the fashionable resort of Ponta Negra and 3 minutes walk away from a modern shopping centre with bars and restaurants.
There is an internet cafe 5 minutes walk from the house.

The Northeast Brazil / Rio Grande do Norte region
Natal is the capital city of Rio Grande do Norte, one of the safest capital cities in Brazil. Ponta Negra is one of the most exclusive areas in Natal and is home to one of the most beautiful and iconic beaches in Brazil with over 3 kilometres of safe sea and sand.The sea temperature is warmer than an indoor swimming pool all the year round and the beach boasts some excellent bars and restaurants. As the city is only 4 degrees south of the equator, the temperature variation during the year is small and even at its hottest, there is always a sea breeze to maintain comfortable conditions.
The resort of Ponta Negra, originally a fishing village, is now self-contained with modern and extensive amenities and a buzzing night life. The new 5 star hotels built along the Via Costeira are less than 1 kilometre distant. Most are happy to accept guests to use their facilities during the day.
The North-eastern Brazilians are a happy and hospitable people with a great sense of style and a separate identity from the rest of the country.
Natal / Ponta Negra area
Natal is an old colonial town, discovered by the portuguese and therefore steeped in history. Visit the fort, the churches and the old prison (now a cultural centre).
Hire a beach buggy and explore the miles of deserted beaches at your own pace, punctuated only by river crossings and beach bars selling fresh seafood. If you want to stay closer to home, there is an abundance of fantastic beaches within 20 minutes drive either way along the coast. Night time entertainment is extensive, varying from a quiet drink in a beachside bar to a modern disco to a live samba club to the open air clubs where the locals dance the night away with the local Forro / Lambada. Shopping is varied from the local artesan stalls to modern shopping centres with cinemas and excellent supermarkets including Carrefour. There are a huge variety of great restaurants in and around Ponta Negra, including Italian, chinese, japanese and of course traditional Brazilian cuisine. Eating out is always very good value.
The high season starts at the end of November in preparation for the CarNatal in December which has grown to become one of the most popular celebrations in Brazil outside of the carnaval season

Hammocks are provided for the terrace - a great way to unwind after a hard day at the beach.
