Campo delle Margherite is ideal for exploring Umbria and central Italy’s most important cities, such as Todi, Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia and Spoleto. Discover the fascinating town of Narni, perched on a cliff just up the road. Rome is an easy day trip by train.

The Umbria region
Umbria has been called the "undiscovered Tuscany" because of its genuine feel and authenticity. It is a beautiful region, still relatively untouched by mass tourism and rich in art and nature.
We also highly recommend the local Umbrian cuisine! Try fresh home-made pasta like manfricoli and ravioli, the region's famous cured meats (norcineria), lentils and freshly caught game.
Narni area
Narni is a fascinating, small city perched on a cliff in the Umbrian mountains, full of small cobblestone streets and corners to discover. The area has been inhabitied since Paleolithic and Neolithic times, and over the centuries Narni’s many rulers have influenced its character and architecture. The longest Roman bridge ever built was constructed in Narni in 23 BC. Part of the imposing Bridge of Augustus is still standing today.
Narni's Corsa all'Anello festival is 700 years old and attracts visitors from near and far in late April and early May. There is also a parade by night, and parade in period costumes, as well as the main event, a contest in which knights on horseback must use their long spears to capture a ring.
There is a whole world hidden below Narni to discover. First the Romans, then the Longobards, Benedictines and the Dominicans each left their own mark underground Narni. There are ancient acqueducts, crypts, frescoed chapels, and even prisons from the Inquisition to explore.

We are located just 95 km (1 hr drive) from Rome Ciampino airport and 117km (1 hr 40 min drive) from Rome Fiumicino airport.

Upon request at time of booking, meals featuring the local specialities can be prepared by a personal chef.

Please contact us or visit our website for more details about the property. Guests can use the adjacent Osteria equipped with a full kitchen, in order to eat all together. Gas, water and electricity are included in the rental price. During the winter the heating is on consumtion. A compulsory fee for the final cleanings is due at the end the stay.
A bank transfer in the amount of 25% of the rental price is due upon reservation. The remaining balance is due by bank transfer 30 days before guests' arrival. A voucher will be sent to you upon receipt of the balance.
A refundable safety deposit of € 200,00 is due upon arrival. At the end of your stay, your deposit will be returned to you, barring any property damage.
