A spacious and cosy holiday apartment (1 of 5) obtained from the recent restoration of an ancient farmhouse of particular architectural charm, situated inside a property of 30 ha in southern Umbria, set in a particularly beautiful and absolutely peaceful landscape. The completely stone-built farmhouse is situated on a gentle hill from which you can enjoy a broad view of the countryside and of the pretty woods making up part of the property and where you can go for charming walks. Shared and in a secluded and sunny position is the floodlit swimming pool (14x7) with Roman-style staircase. The apartment has a reserved outdoor area equipped for outdoor dining. At the guests' disposal in an old wood burning oven that has been completely restored and a covered but open structure to be used for outdoor dining. Possibility of a chef on request.

The Umbria region
An enchanting, almost mystic atmosphere for a region that is so small, if you look at its size, but incredibly intense in its expression of nature. Here the colour green expresses itself in all its shades from the cool woods to the sundrenched olive tree groves, in the plains as in the hills. The slow flow of the rivers accompanies the more agitated movement of the streams, the crystal-clear water alternates between sparkling waterfalls. And next to this natural patrimony are its numerous treasures of art and culture: hamlets, cities, castles, villas, churches and monasteries.
Narni area
LOCATION: Grocery shops and a cheap but excellent restaurant are just 3 km away in the locality of Schifanoia. 8 km the delightful town of Narni (all kinds of shops and a particularly interesting historic city centre). From the Narni train station it is possible to comfortably reach the centre of Rome (approx. 80 km) in less than an hour, 20 km Terni, San Gemini (hot springs locality), the historic city of Amelia and the Marmore waterfalls, 25 km Lake Piediluco, 40 km Spoleto and Todi, 50 km Orvieto, 70 km Assisi. Lake lovers can reach the lakes of Bolsena, Vico and Bracciano in just about an hour's drive. Also an hour away by car are the very interesting Etruscan areas to the south and to the west of the city of Viterbo.
