A typical old village house with modern facilities. 5 min walks from shops and local amenities, 5 min drive from Narbonne with it's medival covered market and its golf course and 15 min from the beautiful sandy beaches with many wineries along the way where you can stop and taste locally produced wine.
The house has three bedrooms, a large living/dining room, a kitchen, a private terrace overlooking the River Aude. Bedroom one and all facilities are on the ground floor, making the property ideal for the elderly and the very young.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region
The region is the sunniest in France with more than 300 sunny days a year. There are many historic places to visit such as the Abbeys of Frontfroide found on the Route of the Cathars and many Roman sites including the old Roman road in Narbonne 'La Voie Domitienne' , the Horreum Romain and the Archealogical Museum. The area has two main canals where it is possible to take canal boat tours. The first is the Canal of the Robine which runs through the centre of Narbonne and second is The Canal du Midi classified as a World Hertiage site. Both are tree lined and travel between small villages and beautiful scenery for many kilometres. Carcassonne is the main town of the Aude area and has a Medieval walled city.
Narbonne / Coursan area
Coursan is in a main wine area of France. Beautiful vinyards wherever you go with the occasional sunflower field here and there. Nearby beaches are the best and least crowded of Mediterranean beaches. They stretch as far as you can see. Family beaches have showers, restaurants and shops with easy parking nearby. These beaches are cleaned every morning by the local authorities. Natural and wild beaches are also nearby with all sorts of water sports such as windsurfing, water skiing, diving, boating etc.
How to get there
Coursan is less than 1 hour from Montpellier, Carcassonne and Perpignan airports with 6 flights daily in summer from UK with British Airways and RyanAir. It's also 10 min from Bezier airport with flights from Bristol with Easyjet. Car hire is also available from these airports.
