The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region
Pembrokeshire is an unique County for many reasons, a coastal national park with great beaches, nearly 200 miles of coastal path, and a clear division between Welsh & English speaking populations, The Lansker Line. Very much an 'outdoors' County with so many activities revolving around the waterways & countryside you will never be short of things to do. Being a coastal county the area is steeped in history from pre-historic remnants of life to the modern day industry that is the Haven waterway, one of the largest ports in the UK.
There is always a full summer timetable of events, craft, food fairs & festivals, classic car events, agricultural & village shows to choose from.
Set in the quiet river valley of The Eastern Cleddau this is a great central base for exploring the County of Pembrokeshire. Nowhere is far away from your base and the roads are generally quiet & easily negotiated. On your doorstep you will find fishing, walking birdwatching, a castle, a norman church & many other facilities within easy reach.
