The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

This is an area of mountains, sea and national park and somewhere that has been attracting holidaymakers for many years.
Pembrokeshire Coast national Park in the south west is a favourite holiday destination, with miles of coastal footpaths and wonderful seascapes; lots of Blue Flag beaches and seas rich in marine life. Further east Carmarthenshire also has lots to attract holidaymakers, with historic castles, mountains, rivers and of course coastline.
No matter where you choose your never too far away from mountains and the sea and of course there is the thriving cities of Cardiff and Swansea to visit, where you'll find lots of first class shops, cafes and restaurants.

Amroth is just a few miles away, with its award winning beach and excellent shops, restaurants and cafes that mark the start of Pembrokeshire's 186 mile coastal walk. Colby Woodland Garden is a mile inland, with woodland walks and afternoon teas and Folly Farm Zoo and Adventure Park is ever popular with children. Head to Narberth market town too for wonderful local food and a lively entertainments diary.
