Home description

The home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, in a private gated community, with a lake to the rear. This means the home has a great view across the lake to the rear, and means you can enjoy total privacy as you are not overlooked by neighbouring homes.

To the rear of the home is a large pool/patio area, which is south facing, thereby allowing you to enjoy the wonderful Florida sunshine all day long. The pool patio area contains :-
a) 30 foot heated swimming pool
b) Patio area (with sunlounger furniture and barbecue) - perfect for enjoying the day long sunshine.
c) Outdoor, partially shaded dining area (with outdoor dining table and chairs), with ceiling fan. Perfect for alfresco dining, or for occasions when you want to sit outside, but not in the full sun.

The home is fully air-conditioned and enjoys all mod cons.

The home features :

4 bedrooms ( 2 en-suite doubles, 2 twins with shared bathroom ). As well as the home air-conditioning system, each room also has a ceiling fan.
Large, bright, open plan kitchen area, with vaulted ceilings, with all mod cons (microwave, cooker and hob, dishwasher etc etc) and separate breakfast dining area.
Large, bright, open plan living area, with vaulted ceilings, with formal dining area (with formal dining table and chairs) as well as a
TV/relaxation area (2 settees, 1 chair, coffee table, large TV, hi-fi)
Separate laundry room with sink, toploader washing machine and tumble dryer.
Double garage.
Large outside pool patio area, with 30 foot swimming pool, patio/sunbathing area and outdoor dining area. As is common in Florida, the rear pool/patio area (known to the locals as the lanai) is surrounded by a pool screen, covered in a see-through fabric mesh, which successfully keeps out insects.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region

Naples is a fairly laid back holiday destination. All the major theme parks in Florida are located in the Orlando/Tampa area, which is 3 to 4 hours drive away, so because of that distance, Naples does NOT make a good base for a theme park holiday. However, it is great for a relaxed beach holiday, either on its own, or for those wanting to combine a week at the theme parks with a week 'chilling' on the Gulf Coast.
Like all of Florida, Naples enjoys a wonderful sunny climate all year round.


Naples, FL / Naples Beach area

Naples, as a city, is large enough to have all the major U.S stores (WalMart, K-Mart, Target etc) as well as a number of small, mid-sized shopping malls, so it's great for shopping. However, it's also still small enough to be able to enjoy relatively uncrowded beaches. Naples is also one of the wealthiest cities in the whole of the U.S and therefore has superb restaurants/dining and shopping, to suit all budgets, from inexpensive to super-exclusive restaurants and boutiques. Because of its proximity to the Gulf Coast and the Everglades, its also great for golf, fishing and nature trips/airboat rides in the Everglades.


How to get there

The nearest airport to Naples is Southwest Florida International Airport (code=RSW) which is located at Fort
Myers and is 30 minutes drive from Naples. There are direct flights from many points in the US and Canada to Fort Myers. Additionally, German airline LTU have direct flights to Fort Myers from Germany.
From UK - Virgin, BA and AA all fly direct to Miami, from there its a 90 - 120 minute drive to Naples.
Alternatively, Orlando is 4 hours drive away.

The home is managed by a highly reputable local property management and rental company, whose business is solely dedicated to managing and renting homes in the Naples area. They have years of experience and look after a large number of homes in the Naples area. They do a fantastic job of maintaining the home in tip top condition, and being on hand to help guests with any issues they might have while staying in the home. When you arrive you will therefore find the home in immaculate condition. As a result of this, they have a very high repeat clientele base.
Should you be interested in renting the home, you will be asked to complete the management company's registration form (online). Your booking is then secure in their reservation system and you will receive email confirmation of your booking. This means your booking is professionally managed, and you have complete peace of mind that your booking is secure with a professional, bona fide rental company.
The management company will also send you directions/keycode to access the home, plus other helpful information before you head out to Florida. They will also be available to answer any queries you might have, both before you head to Naples on vacation and during your stay in Naples. Their offices are located within 5 minutes walk of the home and they have a 24 hour emergency telephone number, in case of any serious problems. They have also placed a folder in the home, containing lots of useful information for guests e.g how to operate appliances, garbage collection days, directions to local shops etc etc

Further details outdoors:
The gulf coast beaches are approx 10 minutes drive away.
There is a small local shopping centre just 5 minutes drive away, with a large supermarket (Publix), pharmacy (Walgreens), Starbucks, Subway, Domino's Pizza, Blockbuster, Chinese take away and several other shops.
Just 8 minutes drive away is a large shopping mall (Coastland Centre - Sears, JC Penney etc etc).
