About the home

Imagine watching glorious sunsets from the privacy of your own beautiful lakeside home! Our beautiful villa is west facing which means that you can enjoy the sun from morning until sundown.

Situated in the gated community of Briarwood, the villa is only 10 minutes by car from Fifth Avenue, Tin City and the famous white sandy beaches of Naples. Guests are welcome to make use of the tennis courts, volleyball court and large community pool. Briarwood is very close to supermarkets, drug stores, restaurants and ATMs. There are numerous golf courses nearby as well as easy access to shopping and outlet malls. There are plenty of watersports available locally and a water park with flumes and a lazy river, open at weekends and every day in the summer is an easy 5 minute drive. Busch Gardens and Adventure Isalnd in Tampa are a 2 hour drive away.

Our lovely villa is beautifully furnished, fully airconditioned and equipped with all you will need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The carpeted master bedroom suite has a king sized bed, walk-in wardrobe, private bath with oversized shower, large soaking tub, twin vanity and private lavatory. The master bedroom has a large TV, wired and wireless internet connection, clock radio and access to the screened in lanai and pool. The pretty second carpeted bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, clock radio and access to lanai and pool. The spacious third carpeted bedroom has twin beds, TV, wardrobe and clock radio. The second and third bedrooms share a bath with shower, tub, vanity and lavatory.

The large tiled living area and master bedroom have vaulted ceilings and all rooms have ceiling fans. The tiled living room has sofas seating 6 and a large cable TV with DVD and VCR. There is a selection of games and books for guest use. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, US large refrigerator/freezer with ice and cold water dispenser and dishwasher. It has beautiful granite counter tops. The separate utility room has washer and dryer and access to the double garage. Alongside the kitchen is a breakfast nook with glorious views over the pool and the lake beyond and access to the screened lanai and pool. There is a separate formal dining area off the living room.

The villa has wireless internet access so you can even use your laptop throughout, even by the pool!

The three sliding patio doors in the living room slide right back and open up to provide perfect access to the screened lanai and pool. The oversized pool deck has table, chairs and modern, comfortable sun loungers, and a shaded area to escape the sun, The pool has both solar and electric heating. This ensures that the pool can be used throughout the year. The screened lanai has a fine mesh to keep insects out but lets the sun in! The pool, which faces west, overlooks the largest lake in Briarwood and many happy hours may be spent in watching the wildlife and wonderful sunsets.

Our home, garden and pool are professionally maintained and cared for throughout the year. BBQ, crib, high chair and golf clubs are available on request. Our local agent offers a 24/7 emergency phone service should any problems arise.

Long stay, low season and last minute discounts may be available.

Conditions

£250 deposit required to secure booking with full payment 8 weeks before start of let. Deposit returned within 4 weeks of end of stay subject to satisfactory clean.

Fly into Miami International Airport then drive west heading for the city of Naples arriving 90 minutes later. For a shorter drive, fly into any US city airport such as JFK, Newark, Atlanta then take an internal flight to South West Florida International Airport (RSW) at Fort Myers then drive south heading for the city of Naples for 35 minutes.

All main car hire companies are represented at all US city airports and RSW. Suggest you search for deals on-line and book before travelling. Can return cars to different locations.

“Lovely holiday in Naples” We travelled with our daughter and son-in-law and stayed 2 weeks in April 2013. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the villa was with an extensive pool area with enough sun loungers and dining area for the 4 of us. It was good that we didn't need the pool heating it was even pleasant for an early morning dip and the pool guys came every week to maintain it which was good. The villa was very well equipped and had plenty of towels and beach towels and also cooler boxes and beach chairs to use. The lay out was good as the main bedroom is on one side and the double and single rooms are on the other side of the villa. It is a peaceful location with a lovely lake view attracting lots of wild life. Briarwood is a very nice gated community and is well situated for all Naples has to offer. The beach, 5th Avenue and 3rd Street South are about 10 minutes drive away and lots of bars and restaurants within easy reach. The beach is lovely for relaxing or for walking and there was always dolphins to be seen. Lots of nice areas to visit and we also drove the 2 hours to Miami Coral Gables and caught the Big Bus Tour bus and toured Downtown Miami and the beach loop. The free Wi-Fi was very much appreciated. Simon the owner was very helpful in booking and with information provided and the deposit was refunded 5 weeks after our return. Would have no hesitation in booking this villa again.

“Florida in January” The villa was in immaculate condition as the photographs show. It is on a very well kept and very quiet development and we felt quite at home. There is a well-appointed pool area where we could spend our time relaxing in the sun. Facing west facing over the lake it has plenty of birds and wild life including ospreys and its own resident otters. The views from the pool area were complimented by some wonderful sunsets. Naples has plenty to offer with plenty of amenities, excellent restaurants, supermarkets and shopping malls and miles of sandy beaches all within a ten minute drive. Everglade City, Marco Island and Sanibel Island are all within easy reach and each good for a day sightseeing. We also found some excellent golf courses, the furthest out being no more than a 30 minute drive. A trip to Key West is a must but a stay in that area of at least one night or even two would be recommended. All in all a place to be recommended and we will probably return.
