About the home
Welcome to our 3 bedroom lakeside home, with its tranquil views of the lake and it's wildlife.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe/closet.
The second bedroom has twin beds, built –in wardrobe and a separate shower room.
The third bedroom which is in its own separate area (which can be completely locked off from the main area) has two single beds, full bathroom and built-in closet.There is also a second fully equipped kitchen in this part of the house and 2 private patio areas.
The open plan living area has a lounge, dinning area with seating for 6-8 people and a traditionally equipped American kitchen. This area opens out onto the very large main patio (30 feet by 20 feet) which has views of the lake and a dining area that seats 6 people, barbecue area and sun loungers where you can catch the sun most of the day .
This makes for fantastic outdoor dining.
All rooms, and the main lanai area, have fans.
From your base here in Bonita you can travel down to Naples and enjoy walking and shopping in the downtown area or visiting the chic restaurants and art galleries of 5th Avenue and 3rd Street. There are nine public/ semi private golf courses within 10 minutes drive from our house. There's absolutely no shortage of shops or restaurants within minutes from our location. The fabulous Miromar Outlets shopping mall is about 9 miles away and the recently completed shopping/dining at Coconut Point and Gulf Coast Town Centre are 20 minutes drive away. Check out the new Mercato shopping and dining experience on US. 41 which is just down the road and has many upscale as well as family restaurants. For those of you that love the beach, as we do, the very tranquil Sanibel and Captiva islands are a 30 minute drive away or for something a little livelier try Fort Myers Beach also a 30 minute drive. Bonita Beach, Barefoot Beach and Vanderbilt Beach are all minutes away. Fort Myers airport is only 15 minutes from the house.
Olde Historic Bonita is just 5 minutes away.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region
The average winter temperature (November-March) is 24 degrees. This goes up to about 28-30 in the summer months. The south west Florida region has become very popular in the last 15 years. South Florida enjoys winter temperatures around 5-7 degrees warmer than central Florida. Residential areas are immaculately maintained all the way down to the professional landscaping along the main roads.
High class shops and art galleries can be found in the "old town" area of downtown Naples. The Naples beach and pier are definitely worth a visit. Visitors enjoy walking along the pier and watching the Pelicans and Dolphins. Two miles from our house is the famous Miromar Outlet where you can buy designer clothes and for about 70% less than the high street. More fantastic shopping and dining can be found at Coconut Point and Gulf Coast Town Centre which are 5 minutes away.
If you're interested in a nature walk visit Corkscrew swamp. There's a 3 mile boardwalk through mangroves, wetlands and savannah landscapes. Also great fun is an air boat ride in the Everglades. You'll see alligators close up and the birdlife is amazing. If you really want to relax call in at The Happeehatchee Retreat and enjoy some yoga in a tropical setting, you will come out feeling amazing this is just a 3 minute drive.
The Naples, FL / Bonita Springs area
Sanibel and Captiva Islands are 30 minutes away. They are both nature reserves which have beautiful, white beaches. South West Florida is a more restful area than Central Florida sorry no Disney!. People visit the area for the beaches, golf, water sports and fantastic shopping/dining experiences.
Fishing trips on Naples Bay or on the Gulf of Mexico can be booked from Tin City in Naples or Fort Myers Beach. Tin City is definitely worth a visit, as is Fort Myers where you can visit the development of the historic city and also call in and see Edison and Fords summer homes and Fort Myers Beach which has a great pier to stroll on and watch the fishing and see the dolphins frolicking .Closer to home is Bonita Beach where the dolphins visit daily and there is the fantastic Docs beach bar where you can get the best burgers in town and watch the glorious sunsets, great fun for all.
