The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region

The climate in Florida is constantly around 80 degrees all year round. The Florida Keys can be reached by car with the spectacular drive across seven mile bridge or take the ferry from Marco Island. The Everglades are close at hand with many wild life parks with an abundance of birds and wild life.

Naples, FL / Lely Resort area

Naples has a wealth of shops from the designer shops of 5th Avenue and 3rd Street to the shopping outlets to purchase a brand name bargain. There are speciality and antique shops and many sidewalk cafes, bistros and gourmet delis for lunch and an endless array of fine restaurants for dinner. Venetion Village on Venetion Bay is worth a visit for lunch overlooking the water or to purchase that special gift. Tin City offers something different for shopping or take a trolley tour of Naples. There are many art galleries theatres and museums. Visit the Caribbean Gardens and Zoo populated by animals from apes to Zebras. Spend lazy days on the seven miles of white sandy beaches and watch spectacular sunsets. Visit Tigertail Beach on Marco Island just 10 minutes away where you can relax and watch dolphins play just off the shore or take part in the countless watersports on offer. Bush Gardens is approximately 2 hours drive away and Orlando can be reached in 3.5 hours by car. Lely Resort has a superb Players Club and Spa with lagoon pool, clay tennis courts, basketball courts, theatre room, billiard room and state of the art fitness centre is available for a $250 transfer fee plus tax.

Fly to Naples - Lely Resort is just 10 minutes drive from the airport.
Fly to Fort Myers - Lely Resort is 30 minutes drive from the airport.
Fly to Miami - Naples and Lely Resort is approximately 2 hours drive from the airport.

A hire car is recommended.

Golf information: Lely has 3 championship golf courses 2 of which are public courses. The Flamingo Island course was degined by robert trent jones senior and is rated on the top 5 public courses in the usa while the mustang was designed by lee trevino and was seventh in a list of most played courses in the golf digest in may 2002. Both courses are within walking distance of the villa. Fees are per round and carts may be hired at additional cost. Please e-mail for further information.

Conditions

No pets allowed. A refundable breakages deposit of £250 is required. Suitable for children of all ages. Doors to the pool area are fitted with child alarms for additional safety.

What a fabulous Villa it certainly had the Wow factor from the moment we arrived. We had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful home, we will defininately be returning again. Malcolm Reed and family.

We only stayed three days and wished we were spending the whole of our trip in your superb villa. It was perfectly located, exceptionally well equipped and far exceeded our expectations. Next time we will stay for longer. Kevin Morris.

We visited the Everglades, swam with the dolphins, played tennis, rode bycicles, shopped, visited the beaches and had wonderful meals out. We loved it so much we have rebooked for next year. Katherine and Dave Roberts.
