Absolutely brilliant! We were having so much trouble finding a place to stay around St. Austell that would let us stay for just one night. With a baby we needed somewhere for her to sleep and a kitchen to make up feeds. This place is perfect! Luckily Lorinda and John came to the rescue and not only let us stay but gave us such a warm welcome (literally) and even turned the heaters on for when we got back in the evening! So appreciated and will pass on good comments and if we need to stay again this is top of our list! Thanks.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Your warm welcome and getting the cottage ready for us at such short notice. We've had a great time exploring Cornwall and the weather couldn't have been better for us. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and the welcome hamper was gratefully received.
Ruth, Ben & Simeon Leicester - July 2014
What a fantastic week! We are so glad we chose to spend our 10th anniversary in beautiful Cornwall playing in the rock pools and the sea instead of getting burnt to a crisp on a cheap island in the Med! Sticky's Place has been a home from home – Simeon loved it here (the garden is fabulous) and being close to Eden Project was great for us. You are the perfect hosts. Thank you!
Diarmaid, Noelle & Holly (6 months) July 2014
Lorinda & John have been fantastic hosts. The welcome pack was a lovely thought and came in very handy after a day of travelling. The cottage was perfect for us and we did so much each day it was lovely to come home to such a quaint and comfortable oasis. We found the location to be amazing, so central and ideal to see all of Cornwall. Travelling with a baby was no trouble because we were so central to everything. We could not have been happier and will be recommending to our friends. Thank you for being so welcoming.

"A lovely cottage perfect for a relaxing break or exploring Cornwall!"
I booked Sticky's Place for a week's break with my boyfriend. Honestly, as well as the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we chose Sticky's as it was a more affordable option and seemed to be a good location for visiting different parts of Cornwall. We weren't disappointed!!
I had been a bit apprehensive as the cottage is located in the back garden of the owners' house but I needn't have worried as the main message that came across when we were greeted by our excellent hosts was to make ourselves feel at home while we were there and not to be afraid to ask for anything at all.
The cottage is small but perfectly formed and provided very comfortable accommodation for our 7 night stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom furniture offered ample space for us to unpack everything and really settle in. A folder in the cottage gave a comprehensive guide on local restaurants, places to visit and instructions on how to use the equipment in the cottage.
Our favourite part however has to be the outdoor hot tub. We were allowed to use this whenever we wanted to, within reason, and it really was a treat!
The location of Sticky's was perfect. Although there is not much in Nanpean itself, the cottage is only a short drive from the town of St. Austell and only 1.5 hour approx drive to Lands End so it wasn't too far from anywhere. We didn't use them ourselves but there were also bus services with stops located very nearby.
Our hosts were extremely kind and welcoming and although they left us to enjoy our holiday without interruption, they were always more than happy to help us when we had any questions about Sticky's or the area.
Sticky's offered a comfortable stay, value for money and a personal touch we wouldn't have experienced in other accommodation. We would definitely like to visit again and have already recommended you to our friends. Thank you!
