This has been a wonderful place to stay while I start to discover Cornwall. It's been great to have a comfy base so that I can have lazy days to rest in between the busy days. The cottage has all I've needed, and like previous visitors I really appreciated the welcome hamper until I got organised with shopping. I hope to be back.

John & Kath Parlatt, Southwell, Notts 23-30 May 2015

Sticky's Place is a perfect location to explore beautiful Cornwall. John & Lorinda are also the perfect hosts to help when needed for advice for local attractions, shopping, food outlets and local hostelries. Having a long day sampling local wines, fish, beers, cheeses and pastries, the hot tub is pure heaven. Thank you so much.

We had a fantastic time stating at “Sticky's Place”. It was a perfect location, one minute from my brother, who we were visiting. S close to lots of lovely beaches and places to visit. The weather also was a bonus as well. I will be recommending “Sticky's Place" to family and friends. We will also be back. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for the welcome pack which was really handy.

Naomi, Mark & Tamsin, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire – 6th Feb 20 2015

Absolutely brilliant! We were having so much trouble finding a place to stay around St. Austell that would let us stay for just one night. With a baby we needed somewhere for her to sleep and a kitchen to make up feeds. This place is perfect! Luckily Lorinda and John came to the rescue and not only let us stay but gave us such a warm welcome (literally) and even turned the heaters on for when we got back in the evening! So appreciated and will pass on good comments and if we need to stay again this is top of our list! Thanks.

Linda & Emma Stafford and Tiverton, Cheshire 14-16 November 2014

"Welcoming, friendly and lovely accommodation!"

We were made to feel welcome straight away - the hamper was such a generous touch. Borrowed DVD's and spoke to John and Lorinda with ease. Clean and tidy accommodation. A lovely stay!

"A lovely cottage perfect for a relaxing break or exploring Cornwall!"

I booked Sticky's Place for a week's break with my boyfriend. Honestly, as well as the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we chose Sticky's as it was a more affordable option and seemed to be a good location for visiting different parts of Cornwall. We weren't disappointed!! I had been a bit apprehensive as the cottage is located in the back garden of the owners' house but I needn't have worried as the main message that came across when we were greeted by our excellent hosts was to make ourselves feel at home while we were there and not to be afraid to ask for anything at all. The cottage is small but perfectly formed and provided very comfortable accommodation for our 7 night stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom furniture offered ample space for us to unpack everything and really settle in. A folder in the cottage gave a comprehensive guide on local restaurants, places to visit and instructions on how to use the equipment in the cottage. Our favourite part however has to be the outdoor hot tub. We were allowed to use this whenever we wanted to, within reason, and it really was a treat! The location of Sticky's was perfect. Although there is not much in Nanpean itself, the cottage is only a short drive from the town of St. Austell and only 1.5 hour approx drive to Lands End so it wasn't too far from anywhere. We didn't use them ourselves but there were also bus services with stops located very nearby. Our hosts were extremely kind and welcoming and although they left us to enjoy our holiday without interruption, they were always more than happy to help us when we had any questions about Sticky's or the area. Sticky's offered a comfortable stay, value for money and a personal touch we wouldn't have experienced in other accommodation. We would definitely like to visit again and have already recommended you to our friends. Thank you!
