The Rift Valley Province region
Our house is situated in an area of outstanding beauty, in a very secure estate called Green Park. We are situated just 100Km from Nairobi and 70Km from Nakuru, so it is ideally placed for touring. Within our grounds we have a solar heated swimming pool, a small covered fitness suite and lovely garden in which to relax. The Great Rift Valley Championship Golf Course and Lodge is just a 10 minute walk downhill where guests can dine, swim, play tennis and shop.
The area is ideal as a touring centre being equally situated between the Masai Mara, Nakuru National Parks and Lakes Baringo and Bogoria. The Great Rift Valley is one of Africa's wonders with its diversity of climate, rich vegetation, wonderful lakes and animal life. Situated at 7,200ft above sea level and just 50miles from the equator, the climate is temperate throughout the year. The area is volcanic with locations such as Hell's Gate, Crater Lake, Elsamere and Olkaria Thermal area within easy reach. Lake Naivasha is the largest of the Rift Valley Lakes and abounds with a rich diversity of bird life and hippos, with animal life around its shores.
