The Scottish Highlands region

Nairn is on the Moray Coast, we have our own micro climate and can often be much milder and dryer than

other patrts of the Highlands. The Moray/highland area is of great historic interest, with the Battle of Culloden, and the all poweful Earls of Moray, our history is often left undicsovered.

The area is littered with many castles and historic houses, these and the wonderful natural beauty of the region make it a great holiday base.

Nairn

Nairn has 2 golf courses and there are 33 others within a 15 mile radius!. Cawdor and Brodie Castle are only a few minutes drive away. Culloden battlefield and Fort George are about half an hours drive. We have wonderful beaches, about 2 miles away, and also Culbin Forest for walking and cycling.

Rockness and Belladrum are our

local summer music festivals, and Nairn holds a Book and Arts festival every. Nairn has it's own Farmers Show and Highland games This year the area is Hosting the Scottish Open Golf champioship at Castle Stuart, and we have the Curtis Cup at Narn West golf club in June.

The area offers something for everyone, outdoor activity, history, culture, marine life, music, food and much more
