The Scottish Highlands region
A warm welcome always awaits in the Highlands of Scotland. There's the hills, the beaches, rivers, mountains, outdoor pursuits, fine food and a comfy bed.
For a real escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, you can't beat the Scottish Highlands and its breathtaking mountains, glens and lochs. Rent self catering accommodation in Fort Augustus to stay by Loch Ness and see if you can spot the elusive monster, or head to friendly Inverness for fine dining and the impressive Inverness Castle. Grantown on Spey offers several whisky distilleries, while skiing enthusiasts should rent a lodge in Aviemore and the Cairngorms.
Keen walkers could try scaling Ben Nevis, Britain's tallest mountain, in the Grampian Mountains. To make the most of your Scottish Highland holiday, rent a cosy cottage, log cabin or croft and enjoy lochside relaxation and perhaps some fishing in a stunning mountain environment.
Nairn has been a top holiday destination as far back as Victorian times, and the fresh clean air has not changed since then.
Nairn has so much to offer the visitor, with its two beautiful white sandy beaches, two championship golf courses, the River Nairn and Findhorn close by for fishing, quaint shops, the Marina with its Dolphin spotting cruises, and all the wide open spaces every child's holiday memories are made of.
The Links has a playground, paddling pool, tea rooms, putting green, adventure playground, indoor swimming pool with gym facilities. There are walks and cycle ways along the seafront, up the river and around the town.

"Family-friendly house in great location"
Dolphin view has a great location as there are two amazing beaches literally on your doorstep and the town and park areas are only a few minutes walk away. Our teenagers also enjoyed having the amusement arcade (with WiFi) only 5 minutes walk from the house. The Basil Cafe in the harbour was lovely and The Dolphin Chip shop in High Street is fantastic. Nairn is a great base for a family holiday in the Highlands and the Dolphin View Cottage makes a cosy holiday home.

A wonderful time was had by all. Did not spend a lot a time in the house as our time was spent visiting the attractions close by (Aviemore, Loch Ness, Inverness and many more) all of which are within easy reach by car.
Dolphin View Cottage was in a quiet area, ideal for the beach, 30 yards walk and within walking distance of the town centre and pubs and restaurants. The house itself was well equipped and cosy and would be ideally suited for families or couples.
Thank you for making our visit to Scotland a memorable one.
